The Party of systemic political corruption was elected on the promise to end political corruption?

The Democrat Party is the official juggernaut of political soft money, those funds coming from often unknown institutional investors in American politics, with all sorts of allegedly illegal special interest strings attached.

So what are the chances that the Party funded primarily by soft money will be the party to eliminate soft money in American politics?

"Democrat addiction to soft money" - No wonder, as everyone is addicted to money [well, maybe almost everyone]. Be that money soft or hard, made of paper, bronze, or gold - mankind has always liked money.

Does anyone know if Campaign Finance allowed foreign governments and organizations to contribute to our politicians? It sure seems like our politicians are paying too much attention to those who are outside our country. I sure feel out of the loop.

$300,000 from China to the re-elect Clinton campaign in 1996 bought Clinton another term and China our nuclear technology and perminent (favored nation) free trade status that is the single reason for our growing trade deficit today.

Does this count?
