WASHINGTON What does the Bill and Hillary Clinton Fund-Raising Tour, starting in New York this week, moving on to Washington on Tuesday, and concluding in Los Angeles this weekend, tell us about the New York senator's strategy in dealing with rising challenger Senator Obama?
Size matters. Everything about this week's event in Washington screamed big. From the ballroom at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, designed to hold more than 3,000 people, to the Patton-esque flag backdrop, to 1,000-plus donors, to the price tag for entry from $1,000 to $4,200, the maximum any individual can give to a federal campaign every detail of the event was on the larger-than-life scale that only a front-runner and longtime Washington fixture can pull off.

The Dean /far leftwing won't stand for this . Hitlary will ultimately win with the help of the unions , but it will leave many blacks and Deaniacs very angry if she doesn't defeat Barry-O gently . If she gets nasty , expect her to put him on the ticket as a last resort .
Paging Ralph Nader .....
WoW! That's a real "news flash".
Like I never would've guessed that.
How does this woman have time to be US Senator representing New York? What a Stalinist pig. Earning a taxpayer paid salary while not working in the job she was elected to do, living large, campaigning and polluting the world by contributing to global insanity, and warming with two enormous homes, lots of garbage from her appearances, tons of private jet fuel miles, and most of all opening her big slithering tongued mouth spewing hot rancid air.
28 years of two families
makes the u.s. look like a banana republic
with a dictatorship.
P-l-e-a-s-e just go away, far, far away. A total of nearly twenty years of the Clintoons in or near the W.H. is more than anyone should be subjected to. Worse than torture.
Speaking of Dean, Rush read a story 2 weeks ago about how he has been meeting with foreign leaders lately. Could it be that he may run, too?
I doubt it . Gore and Dean are in the same faction from which Obama is now garnering support. The other two factions are the Klinton/DLC faction , and the old guard Kennedy/Kerry faction .
The Kennedy/Kerry faction is out . That leaves the far left Dean/Gore faction which is now being represented by Obama . The unions will back Hitlary in this , the unions go with who they think can win .
Of the three factions , the Klinton faction is the money/ union faction ,and that equals victory in a Dim primary .
Many unions back Obama against Hillary because of the war and immigration issues (Obama is seen as being much more friendly to the Immigration issue, as well as the war and other union issues)
The amount of money being raised by hillary is not really from the people attending her rallies. They have billions of drug money from clinton's war in the Balkans where he backed the Algerian terrorists to keep open the pathway of drugs to the entire world. This money needs to be laundered so what better way to do it than to pass it out to their friends at the rallies so that each can give the maximun contribution. After all, he is already the world's roving ambassador and has access to the drug cartels of the world and the various mafias who deal in pure corruption.
The big unions will back Hitlary . I don't think the war issue is as important to unions, the immigration issue is plausible though . Hillary will do just fine with the pro illegal factions . I think the core of Barry O's support is with the minority cummmuinity and anti-war far lefties .
Hitlary will benefit from old tried and true Dimocrat vote turning machines like the big unions .They won't risk going against her .
Maby in the general. Many unions have been backing John Edwards, and if he goes, they will side with Obama.
Hillary has pulled herself in too many directions, and will lose the Dem primary because she will be effectivly challenged by the moonbat wing.
I disagree, the unions tend to be oriented towards the establishment candidate. While some are supporting Edwards , I think they'll go with Hillary if Edwards leaves the race . I'm speaking in terms of the larger more powerful unions , they are good at hedging their bets .
The Klinton team is now ready to flex their muscle and it will be quite effective .Hitlary just raked in a bunch of cash over the weekend and they have been going quite easy on Obama as well . Hitlary is still the odds on favorite and should not be discounted .
I enjoy watching the three factions of the Dim party and how they fight and struggle with each other behind the scenes .
