You forgot to mention that they also defaced the statue of Lincoln.
I don't understand the defacing of a Lincoln statue. Didn't he free the slaves? And weren't the slaves mostly people of African descent? And aren't these people supposedly sensitive to and supportive of people of African descent? It doesn't make sense. A statue of Jefferson Davis I could understand (even though it's still wrong).
If this is ever shown on any major news broadcasts I will take every poster on this thread out to dinner...at a Chinese restaurant, no less.

I would have loved to stand next to the burning effigy with a sign that read, "Iraqi insurgent" with an arrow pointing to the effigy.
You'd better believe if this were a bunch of us from FR doing crap like that they'd have it on the News. Maybe it is time to burn Hillary in effigy? The site has even worse pictures. I'm going to grab them all these are too good. They capture the essence of the left.

My advice to these people is to leave the country. Go find another one where you'll be happier. And we'll all be happier.
Portland is nearly beyond hope, the only salvation to be found is in the outlying counties to the west and south.
We never go downtown shopping, dining, ride the MAX, or anything else. Only to the rose garden arena for games or concerts. I pay the $10-15 buck to park, well worth it not to have to see, listen to, smell, or have my kids exposed to the trash that crawls downtown.
