Parents: Grapevine teen bound, shocked
01:42 PM CDT on Monday, March 19, 2007
WFAA.com Staff
GRAPEVINE Grapevine police are investigating reports that a 13-year-old girl was assaulted at the home of a friend in the 4100 block of Harvest Glen Court.
Police said the parents of the alleged victim called them on Saturday evening to report the assault, which include statements that the girl had been bound with duct tape and shocked with a hand-held Tazer gun.
The parents of the unnamed girl told police they had let their daughter sleep over at the friend's house on Friday night. The parents allege that their daughter and other teens at the house were permitted to drink beer that was provided by the friend's family.
Police said they were told that the 13-year-old became intoxicated, loud, and out of control. It is alleged that some of the teens used duct tape to bind her and to tape her mouth shut. The alleged victim also said she passed out several times and was dragged around by her legs and pulled down a flight of stairs.
A teenage boy at the house allegedly used a Tazer to assault the girl multiple times.
Detectives executed a search warrant at the address on Saturday night to collect evidence related to the case.
Police said numerous criminal charges were possible and that the case remained under investigation.

You leave to go sleepover at a friends' house. You come back drugged, taped, and tasered. Nice.

We use to poor a cup of warm water on their crouch when they passed out. It caused a bit of embarrassment when they woke up but that was about it.

I guess we were too pour to do anything else!
To: SF Republican
I thought you were suppose to stick their hand in warm water when their were sleeping.

My brother went out on his morning paper route and the dog got skunked. He let the dog bound in on a group of sleeping girls. Tasered might be better.

I'm inferring the "host's" parents were not home. My kids never do a sleepover without parents in the house.
To: Hoodlum91
(of course, the parents weren't as shocked as the girl was)

"... became intoxicated, loud, and out of control." I've had guests do that, but I didn't think of taping their mouth shut with duct tape, tasering them, then dragging them down the stairs. Maybe next time.

I thought you were suppose to stick their hand in warm water - We tried that, it didn't work, so we poured it direct, they did not know the difference.

The worst I've ever done was when a friend of mine passed out on the toilet while taking a dump with his pants around his ankles, me and the guys threw some dog food in his drawers and shut the coon dogs in the room.
He was so pissed off when he came out he smoked an unlit cigarette for a half an hour.

I have it on, uh, good authority, that the hand-in-warm-water trick works. Splendidly.

In my younger days the rule stated that; "it wasn't really a party until somebody catches on fire and blood is drawn."
Long story...
