OK, so you may not have seen the Gathering of Eagles on your local television station, well buckle your seatbelts, we are taking the next step.
Blast off Monday morning, March 19th - at 10:00 AM Eastern.
Follow this thread for live discussion on shocking ad that makes the point clear: We Win in Iraq or Face the Terrorists in America.
Yeah Boooooy!!!!!!!!! Awesome!
great ad -
ping
Right on!
AWESOME!!!
Melanie Morgan believes strongly that it's time we stopped playing on defense and take the fight to the American public and show what will happen if we allow the anti-war/anti-military faction to prevail.
That tells it all in a nutshell.
Can we find one for Win Media Player?
MAF tried to be straightforward and to the point.
Great Ad, but it would be better with a more booming voice, like say Fred Thompson....
Impressive ad...wonder how many stations will run it or will it be only seen on Fox.
That's the question, but what MAF has done has been passing it out on the pro-troop caravan across the nation. The big splash comes Monday and MAF will be fighting to get this ad approved everywhere possible. There is nothing in this ad that is illegitimate or unsubstantiated.
FReep mail me and I will see about getting you a Windows Media version.
Iloved this.

bump for later
Wow! That is excellent!
Sweet and to the point, no sugar coating here.
Thanks for the enthusiasm - the opportunity to put the anti-war crowd on the run is fun!
Excellent!! Thanks for the ping
PING!
It seems at first glance to be urging the use of thermonuclears in Iraq.
I know the intent was the nuking of a US city, but it did not look like that.
Fantastic!
It was OK,would rather have shown footage of Bid Laden's second in command saying Iraq is now the war front, and American soldiers saying, captured prisoners all say their mission is to make America a vast waste land and rebuild it as a Muslim nation.use these footages then say fight them there or here
Melanie is right.
Well I wouldn't be surprised to see the anti-war radicals say that this looked like Iraq, but if they do I think they will make themselves look foolish. I believe most Americans do not think that Bush wants to nuke Iraq - heck, the Administration has gotten cold feet at times about using strength and force to clean up terrorist strongholds.
My cohorts at MAF decided that since Americans know the terrorists are capable of a 9/11 attack and witnessed it first hand, that they need to realize if we cut-and-run from the war on terror the terrorists will see this as a sign of weakness, that America has retreated, and that we are weak and vulnerable.
So, the question then is how to grab the attention of the public and the media to the real danger for the escalation of tactics by the terrorists. The nuclear explosion is purposely included to evoke the imagery of the 1964 "Daisy" spot. In essence, it's using their own antics against them, and in doing so show that it is not the pro-troop/pro-military crowd that make Americans vulnerable to an awful attack with a suitcase nuke/etc... but rather it is the peaceniks who enable the terrorists by undercutting American support for our troops and their missions in the war on terror.
I just thought I would share with you some of the internal discussions that took place that I was privy to. Again, thank you very much for your comments.
FABULOUS!
A blessing on MAF and this ad, may it communicate well to many and may those people pass on their new knowledge to many others!
Yeah, this one sounds like they dug up that guy that narrated the documentaries we used to have to watch in school.
Should have gotten Fred Thompson to do the voiceover work on it!!
No matter what you may think of it, "Daisy" even today, is a VERY effective ad, and our side should have been using this lib-style hyperbole LONG AGO to get our message out...
It really is a PROPOGANDA WAR, more than anything else, and we have been playing the game with BOTH of our arms tied behind our backs...
The REAL WAR isn't in Iraq, it's right here, in the homes of America.
The enemies of this nation CANNOT defeat us on the battlefield, but the traitors/Democrats/Jihadi's know that that war will be won in the living rooms of middle America...

I'd love to see it, but have not been able to get YouTube to work since upgrading to SP2. Any other versions?
new tone, gonzo, and the gop pussies, will all have a fit
musn't upset the dems and the media, you see
kum ba ya my lord, kum ba ya...
'Reference is sometimes made to "Kumbaya" in a satirical context, to denote a blandly pious and naively optimistic view of the world and human nature, insufficiently grounded in real experience. In a satirical television spot for the 2006 Congressional elections, made by David Zucker, an actress playing Madeleine Albright serves cookies and milk to a group of terrorists: when she notices gunmen and suicide bombers emerging from the basement, her guests distract her and allay her suspicions by picking up a guitar and breaking into a chorus of "Kumbaya".'
the gop pussies denounced the zucker ad as being too confrontational and controversial

bump to the top
Maybe we need zombies eating brains thrown in there to reach them. More zombies! Yeah, that should get their attention.
Seriously, it's good. But the nuke at the end was a bit much, I think something like showing actually newsprint headlines of terrorist attacks that have already happened here would make a strong point. We had MANY attacks from lone jihadist the media has buried and there is a strong case in support of this ad. The nuke makes sense, but is such an extreme case many people will dismiss the ad entirely. Leftists, that is. Otherwise, it's preaching to the choir.
Thanks, neat banner. Amazing that the MSM buildings are right in the cities likely to be hit, but then, maybe they figure if they are 'useful' enough to the enemy they will be the exception. Stupid dhimmis.
Sure enjoyed that article!
Indeed!
"B-but that's fearmongering! It's simplistic! Iraq is just like Viet Nam! (Sputter...sputter, gasp, gasp)."
Did you like my interpretation of an apoplectic leftist moonbat? Show this video more and you'll get to see more of that kind of reaction. The comments on youtube seemed to be largely of that kind of reaction. So of course I liked the video.
I will say this, though. If widely shown, it will largely result in preaching to the choir. But at least it's preaching. Iraq is important, but I think it's more important to recognize that this is a generational war between cultures; the west on one end and the radical mohammedans on the other. I doubt that any of us are going to live long enough to see how it all comes out. And I think that's largely going to be determined by demographics.
Said another way, the bigger cultural war is going to be won or lost in America's bedrooms as much as it is on the battlefield. Want to see our side win the generational culture war? Then plan on having more children.

Thanks for adding explanatory info for those who may not understand every reference. More comments like yours are needed on freerepublic.

Less than a minute long, makes a strong point.
