He worked pro bono to defend Allegheny County (PA) against citizens who were trying to get the 10 Commandments removed. He apparently was very proud of this work, according to his Senate questionnaire.
And here's something that's pretty cool: not only is a prominent Pennsylvania Republican (party officeholder) who has supported Bush and Santorum, but he also contributed money to the National Right to Life Committee. It's hard to say for sure, but he sounds pretty decent.
I know the fact that he was confirmed 95-0 would be worrisome on the surface, but the Senate Dems pick and choose fights, sometimes letting very conservative people through without a fight. They're just unprincipled slaves of the left.
Great, another pal of Arlen Specter gets confirmed. So what knife will Specter put in the back of Bush now?

Hmmmm. Did you read what I just posted? Is that all this man was? I don't know a lot about him but he sounds a bit better than old Arlen. Can you elaborate?
He could just as easily have been recommended by Rick Santorum.
Yes, but unfortunately Rick was thrown under the train by Specter; I don't recall hearing anything about him working for Rick.
Specter...what a joke.
