Uh . . on the downside . . our garage is infested (probably with Mrs. Tittlemouse's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandchildren) and the clutter and layout there isn't suitable for use of the Hav-A-Hart traps (no one could hear the traps being engaged, and the mice would die in the traps), besides it would take a whole bunch of the traps, my husband resorted to D-Con which recently poisoned my cat (a tough Viking Kitty that just shrugged it off with only a day or two of vomiting), so what about . . .
. . mixing equal parts of Diatomaceous Earth, Powdered Sugar and White Flour? Would the Daitomaceous Earth be sufficient to cut mice intestines? I know if the dogs and the cat got into it that it wouldn't hurt them, but mice are not much bigger than the roaches out here, and the Diatom has been very effective on the roaches.
Was that supposed to be a link to DU?
I recall a story about twenty years ago -- my mom was watching TV, and called, "Look at this! The cat's chasing a fly against the screen!"
A moment later, "She caught the fly!"
A moment after that, Mom made horrible gagging noises.
I suppose it's just as well I didn't come to watch.
