Bosnian Serbs Refuse To Accept Collective Responsibility

Bosnian Serbs would not accept collective responsibility for genocide committed during the war in Bosnia, nor should the Bosnian Serb entity be abolished, top Bosnian Serb officials said in a declaration Wednesday.

The highest-ranking Bosnian Serb officials in central Bosnia- Herzegovina's institutions and the Srpska Republic signed the document in Banja Luka.

The document is an attempt to defuse political tensions in the country caused by the ruling of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which last month cleared Serbia of genocide, but placed the responsibility with Bosnian Serbs' wartime officials.

"We are seriously worried because of radicalization of political and ethnic relations in Bosnia-Herzegovina following the ICJ's verdict. Politicization and misinterpretation of the verdict go over the line of maximal tolerance, jeopardizing peace and stability and ethnic relations in the country," said the declaration.

The reaction of Bosnian Serb leaders was provoked by a recent statement of the Muslim member of Bosnia's Presidency Haris Silajdzic who said that the ICJ's decision proved that Bosnia's current constitution, which divides the country into two ethnic entities, must be changed.

Referring to Srpska Republic, often considered by Bosnian Muslim officials as the product of genocide, Silajdzic suggested "gradual reform of the constitution, which would completely annul the results of the genocide."

Here are the choices:

1. Assign individual responsibility and prosecute.
2. Accept collective responsibility by default.

Quiz time kronos - how many prosecutions has Banja Luka mounted of the over 19,000 members of the VRS active in the Srebrenica region during the Srebrenica genocide?

Ok, you have been found to be part of the collective responsible for the genocide of the American Indians and for the horrific slave trade of the African people.

We'll be by to collect your home as partial repayment shortly.

And as has been shown here previously in great detail, there was no Srebrenica genocide. The Muslim soldiers ran like rabbits and got chewed up in an ambush.

How's about "Ha ha. Quit being stupid".

The report names a total of 25,083 people involved in the massacre in Srebrenica, 19,473 of which are said to have given orders or actively taken part in the killings, while the other individuals on the list stand accused of having indirectly contributed to the slaughter. source

The Bosnian Muslims wanted a massacre. They got one.

Dhimmis are opposed to anyone standing up and resisting the Jihadists. That's why they reference Soros-owned and operated websites as if they proved anything.

And lest the cry of "Srebrenica, squawk!" be allowed to go unchallenged, the following facts are offered:

"The above map clearly explains why round 2,000 Srebrenica Muslims lost their lives. The decision that the 28th Muslim Division should refuse to lay down its arms and embark on a break-through along a 100km-long route in the hardest of military operations, for which it was not prepared in view of the prior retreat of command personnel, amounted to a conscious sacrifice of round two thousand Muslim men of military age. The Western allies would do their best to present it as no less than genocide. They would any trick they could think of to boost the number. They will lie that 8,000 Srebrenica Muslims perished and that the Serbs, in cold blood, executed these men"

So, out of the 80,000 men in total -- 25,000 were in Srebrenica? Right. I guess the 1080-km-long frontline was left pretty much undefended then. The only force involved in/around Srebrenica was the Drina Corps which numbered 14,000 at its peak (1993) and was responsible for more than 10 zones of operation in the eastern part of Republika Srpska.

Ummm, the coordination of 25,000 people over a week period takes a lot expertise Hoplite...I don't think that even I could handle that circus. Well, perhaps maybe you could?

If Srebrenica was genocide then so was the "Highway of Death" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_of_Death) in 1991. Destroying a retreating enemy is permitted in war.

I congratulate you on your perspicacity and agree that no, you probably couldn't.

The VRS, however, demonstrably did.

There's nothing wrong with shooting an armed enemy in the field, no matter how badly you hate seeing the Jihadists get their butts kicked.
