The Democrats always say the same solution, "throw up the White Flag and admit to defeat." Where would this country be if we took the easy way out everytime we were faced with a conflict? When we pulled out of Vietnam millions were murdered. The same would happen in Iraq. Do the Democrats who want us to retreat have any common sense? or are they just worried about winning an election again?
Bill is being put into some black people hall of fame....
I am so confused....I have no idea why Bubba is considered so 'black'.
History will show that the Bush/Cheney team in the aftermath 9-11, a recession inherited from Clinton and the Katrina disaster contributed greatly to the country's recovery in the face of those disasters. On the world stage they will be remembered for bringing freedom to the oppressed countries of the Middle East and Afghanistan, irregardless of the outcome of the current conflicts in those areas. Freedom is never free, witness our support to protect democracies around the world, including Japan and Europe for the last 60+ years.

And the whole time, both Barack and Hillary are hoping that nobody on the Democrat voter rolls notices that neither one of them is Bill Clinton, the once and only true leader of the Democrats.

Tancredo is right. We ARE leaving Iraq at some point. I doubt Tom means leaving Iraq in the same sense Democrats mean it, but leaving it after we have helped the Iraqis get their act together. That's been the plan the whole time as far as I know. Tommy Franks specifically said, in his book and in person I think, that the war in Iraq would take up to ten years and then there would be a US presence in the country for some time after, to help preserve the peace and reinforce the development of democracy in the area. I have not heard that changing.
Democrats are just playing politics with the issue. We don't hear Democrats saying to get out of Kosovo or Korea, etc. They are just opposed to whatever President Bush is doing, Democrats relish the issue and could care less about the welfare of the troops or citizens in the US or Iraq.
Aren't these idiots paid to know that Walter Reed is slated to be closed down?
Friday morning....Laura Ingraham and Larry Kudlow practically had a knock down draq out fight about Hillary.
Laura was all complimentary and high on Hillary with her stance about China...
Kudlow came on and took the opposite stand..and said that our economy is great because of our trade..and to cut off trade with China would harm us....blah, blah.
Laura was not happy with Kudlow...and took Hillary's side.

Well, I've not ever been so hot on Laura. (I know, I know. Many other freepers are, but I have never found her to be to my tast in radio hosts. 'Guess I was spoiled by the excellence of Tony Snow's show.)

But, the MSM and the DEMS have found another way to get to Bush.
I heard the other day that the Dems see this as another potential way to bring down Bush...and use against the GOP in 2008.
The dems have even called for a hearing AT Walter Reed tomorrow morning so they can talk directly to the troops....
These poor injured troops are going to be used to get Bush and the GOP....
I am not saying that the problems that are there shouldn't be fixed...and shouldn't have some of the leadership in trouble....but, just realize that this is what the MSM and dems do....the exploit people and situations for their gain.
I heard that when Prs. Bush found out about this he was so mad, it was like his hair was on fire....however, he will be ultimately blamed.
Also, how many blacks did Clinton have in his own administration? Ron Brown was one, but we all know what happened to him.
