I always suspected R2D2 had something to do with Galactic Halliburton. Rumor has it they had the contract for the Death Star before the empire went with that weenie company linked to Lando what's-his-face instead.
Never cross Galactic Halliburton...
They're known to work with those weird catlike assassins that live in yurts... Interstellar Blackwater or something like that. I don't think they ever got any footage of them but they've been mentioned by high level sources once or twice.
