FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 24, 2007
The MINUTEMAN PROJECT, Inc., - DISPELS THE VIEL OF SECRECY
Newly elected as President of the Minuteman Project, Mr. Marvin Stewart today
announced the organization will hold a Press Conference immediately after the court
hearing at 4:30 pm at the Orange County Superior Court, Central Justice Center, 700
Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, California.
We have faced the difficult choice of replacing Mr. Jim Gilchrist as the Chairman
and CEO of the Minuteman Project, and implementing a structural re-organization to
correct administrative inadequacies through the previous leadership's tenure. We
believe it is absolutely necessary to have an open and above board review of the
Minuteman Project's administrative functions. We want to assure our members that
have placed their trust in us to defend and protect them when the federal
government fails enforce immigration laws Mr. Stewart stated.
Through unpleasant circumstances clear and defined functions, and
responsibilities, can be determined. The Board of Directors of the MINUTEMAN
PROJECT cannot continue to serve the needs of its membership, nor strive to defend
the nation, while any cloud of doubt rests above it. This public effort is meant to
dispel that cloud of doubt, and to reassure our members that the leadership will
take whatever steps are necessary when those circumstances arise and demand clarity of purpose Mr. Stewart concluded.
Minuteman President Mr. Marvin Stewart and Minuteman Treasurer Ms Deborah Courtney, accompanied by their corporate attorney, Mr. Jim Lacey, will respond to media questions at that time.
Sounds like the cat that craps on the rug and blames the dog!
Looks like it.
The minutemen volunteers can not stand her.
"Minuteman President Mr. Marvin Stewart and Minuteman Treasurer Ms Deborah Courtney, accompanied by their corporate attorney, Mr. Jim Lacey, will respond to media questions at that time."
If they took control, why did they change corporate lawyers?
From www.campominutemen.com:
THIS is what the Minutemen are really all about, NOT petty bickering among the leadership!
The minutemen volunteers can not stand her.I understand.
What do you/they think about MARVIN?
They like and respect him a lot.
What's the deal with Chris Simcox, and the OTHER "Minuteman" group?
Is HE O.K., too -- or?
That press release raises more questions than it answers. It's full of nonsense.
Maybe they should bring back the eighteen year-old kid.
Blue Collar Republican knows better than I
How are you enjoying MARRIED life?
Chris Simcox is doing well, as is MCDC. They just started a new chapter in LA...
The Los Angeles Greater Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps
MinutemanHQ.com | 2/24/07 | Edwin R Williams
Minuteman founding member and Republican Party nominee to the State Assembly, Tony Dolz, has established the Los Angeles Greater Metropolitan Area chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC). The new chapter is called LA Minutemen (www.LAMinutemen.com) and it will focus on grassroots activism, border watches, political service and education. The LA Minutemen celebrate patriotism, duty and unity and promote controlled and sustainable LEGAL IMMIGRATION and assimilation. Race-centered activism, loyalty to foreign nations and violent behavior will not be tolerated.
According to an article published in the Washington Times on February 20th, the lobbyist for the Essential Workers Immigration Coalition and The U.S. Chamber of Commerce (both profiteering groups) have finished drafting the Senate Bill that will bear Ted Kennedys signature. The unveiling of this new amnesty and open-floodgates for massive legal immigration bill will take place before the April Easter recess. We have no time to waste. Current MCDC members living in Los Angeles Greater Metropolitan Area are invited to immediately step-forward and fill leadership positions. Meetings will begin in March and will feature guest speakers and an open forum. All are welcome.
For information or to join the LA Minutemen, contact Tony Dolz at (310) 383-3600 or email us at laminutemen@minutemanhq.com. Myspace users can become a myspace friend and get the latest information by going to www.myspace.com/laminutemen. (Website under construction)
I know Tony Dolz! He is a "good guy!"
Perhaps he can help Marvin and Chris co-ordinate a re-unification of the two groups.
LOL!
It's one of those "Kevin Bacon: six degrees of separation" kind of things.
I know the back story. Tony will not get involved, nor will any of his friends. Without Deborah, Marvin had a chance.
Marvin needs an editor badly.
Are you volunteering?
The guy does not know how to work an audience. He went out of his way to piss off the commies at Columbia and went far over his time limit. He does not seem like a responsible public speaker.
