She's got the Ma Richards hairdo. LOL
Here is my position on Rudy's (presumed) position.
Keep your firearms loaded - and don't let ANYONE take them.
Oh,, and don't worry - Rudy's not going to come and empty your gun safe.
President's don't have the authority to do that.
Do you really think gun control is a hot issue today - good lord - even the democrats don't talk about it any more.
Be real.
Maybe it's an older picture. Kinda reminds me of the Betty Crocker picture you see all the time. LOL!
This is about Duncan Hunter - not Rudy.
Take off the blinders - let's talk about Duncan Hunter.
This did not appear to be written as a pro Hunter article.
That means she's a tough old broad! ;)
Translation: make it a masquerade ball. No, Hunter's out to tell people what he stands for, show how he presents himself and what kind of President he would be. Straightforward and to the point. We don't need a masquerade ball when the other candidates pretend they will do something to win over the base when in actuality it will further liberal causes when they get into office.
Well has anyone else mentioned this endorsement for Duncan? I was looking for one on FR and nothing. This is big news for Duncan and it should have been posted. They did a very nasty piece on it I agree - but I don't see it anywhere else.
I like Duncan Hunter ok - I think he has some baggage and some
tough hurdles - but that said - I'm glad he's out there.
Now just on the kidding side: the man needs to carry a comb.
"Shame on you guys."
Hang your head, Tom Dooley,
Hang your head and cry;
You killed poor Laurie Foster,
And you know you're bound to die.
You left her by the roadside
Where you begged to be excused;
You left her by the roadside,
Then you hid her clothes and shoes.
Hang your head, Tom Dooley,
Hang your head and cry;
You killed poor Laurie Foster,
And you know you're bound to die.
I, too, shame you--once, twice, thrice. You have been duly shamed, so hang your head . . . and be ashamed.
(The purpose of this post is as curious as a Rudi! supporter posting a Duncan thread, is it not?)
I know that this article is meant to put anyone that is thinking about Hunter off - but guess what? It makes me support him even more!!!
He is walking the talk! Putting his money where his mouth is! Being consistent all the way!
How refreshing!!! GO DUNCAN HUNTER!
I've posted more articles about Hunter than probably anyone. This is a hit piece on Hunter, AND this is the primary, where Hunter's main opponent will be Rudy.
This article tries to paint this DH supporter as cruel and callous, and by association, Hunter as well. The original AP article that I posted yesterday had the title of: Hunter Appoints like Minded Supporters, or some such sh*t. Then mentioned this women's comment to the illegal Alien and dug up a 10 year old "controversial" quote from another guy that Hunter appointed.
So its ripe for a compare contrast Hunter's real stands against the "guy who can beat Hillary"'s.
COLUMBIA, S.C. | Republican presidential candidate Duncan Hunter on Thursday named a South Carolina adviser who boasted about telling an illegal immigrant worried about an abused child to "get back to Mexico."
At a news conference at the Statehouse, Horry County Auditor Lois Eargle talked up her hard-line stance on illegal immigrants. The former county GOP chairwoman said an illegal immigrant with three children came to her office this week asking for free legal help for an abused child.
"I told her the best thing for her to do was to get back to Mexico," Eargle said.
Hunter, a California congressman who is considered a long-shot to win the White House, said if a fence was not built along the Mexican border by 2009, as president he would ensure it was "built start to finish in six months." <>P> Hunter also named former state Rep. Tom Marchant and Dr. Henry Jordan campaign co-chairmen. Jordan made headlines nearly a decade ago for his disparaging comments about Muslims and Buddhists.
An unsuccessful candidate for lieutenant governor both in 1996 and last year, Jordan said in May that science does not support Darwin's theory that man evolved from monkeys. He said students should learn "intelligent design" along with evolution.
"I mean you've got to be stupid to believe in evolution, I mean really," he told The Associated Press then.
Duncan called Jordan "a great, conservative Republican leader" who agrees with him on strengthening the border, national defense and protecting jobs from going overseas.
Duncan said he did not know about Jordan's comments.
"That may be all YOU need, but just for those who are squishy about abortion..."
Those, too. I just seem to be lazier than you.
I got my Duncan Hunter 08 bumper stickers and pins in the mail yesterday. Now I will do my small part to cut into that name-recognition thing in Ohio at least.
LOL! At least he's got hair! OOPS! I didn't say that did I? LOL!
Ok - I agree with you.
Duncan is a tough SOB with the press - I like that.
His hawkish positions are very welcome by me.
If - and I repeat IF - he does not make it to POTUS.
I like the man for SECDEF or SECHLS...
Frankly I put him into the "Big Three"
I posted the same article, but a fuller version yesterday.

They also dug up dirt on another of Hunter's appointees from 10 years ago. All part of the game.
Good point. I like your "drive hard to the right" he is getting closer to the lane I drive in.
That's the one I posted yesterday. :o)
"I mean you've got to be stupid to believe in evolution, I mean really," he told The Associated Press then.
