I guess we have moved on beyond the chilling effect inherent in the charges.
Just imagine, front page headlines when a political figure lies becoming criminal only when he lies to the government itself.
Makes us little people real quiet, don't it?
Is Andy Sullivan a mind reader now?
Like Clinton pardoned Libby's friend and client, Marc Rich. Libby phoned Rich to congratulate Rich on his Clinton pardon.
While that strategy probably won't win an acquittal, it could prevent the jury from reaching a unanimous decision and force a mistrial, they said.
Don't you just love it when the MSM quotes unnamed "legal analysts"?
I served on a jury on a one week criminal trial. During deliberations, we could not all agree on what most of the witnesses said. We agreed on the substance of the evidence but had differing recollections of exactly who said what.
How the hell can any jury enter a perjury verdict based entirely upon differing recollections of brief conversations that occurred months before?
I keep getting this confused with the Anna Nicle Smith proceedings...Im pretty sure there is a body somewhere
Fitz has laid out his real case with his final statement and its clear he has Moonbat blood coursing through his veins :
His take:
This was a "MAJOR" hit job orchestrated by Cheney stiking out against the critics,Yada Yada Yada
If so why would Scooter take the fall?....The motive to lie is hedoesnt want to lose his job etc.
If this is all some grand conspiracy why didnt Scooter just turn Cheney over and cut a plea bargain ....He would get a great pay off from the left...make millions on books , own a chain of Burger Kings ,do whatever he wanted
Moonbats make no sense
So are they going to call for the same sentence Bill Clinton got for his perjury conviction?
Who knows??!!
