I heard Wolf Blitzer on his Situation Room reporting on this.

He reported it as simply and blandly as the Iranians catching the person responsible for the 11 Revolutionary Guards and trying and executing him.

Note a hint or peep of concern over this going down so hard so fast in Iran. Just Wolf being Wolf looking out for the Islamofacists.

Wolf is playing the "my enemy's enemy is my friend game" but it is going to catch up to him and the rest.

Supporting Jundallah seems like a stupid, short-sighted move for US policy makers.

I've learned to never underestimate the talent for short-sightedness possessed by US policy makers. ;)

"The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend."

I believe that would refer to Osama during the Soviets incursion into Afghanistan.

"Where in the hell is the UN and the other worthless human rights groups?"

They know Iran won't take them seriously.

Playing with fire (Al Qaeda) can get you burned. Hopefully, it is a lesson the Iranians will learn and will stop supporting violence in Iraq. I seriously doubt it, but it is worth hoping.

"A Sunni militant group which some believe is linked to al Qaeda claimed responsibility. Jundallah, or God's Brigade, has also been blamed for past attacks on Iranian troops.

So are the Sunnis our friends now, or are our friends just the Shiites?

I'm confused. I thought the Shiite were our friends in Iraq, not the Sunnis.

The people the Iranians are supporting in Iraq (al-Sadr and the like) are mortal enemies of Al Qaeda.

Neither are strictly "friends." US forces are fighting Sunni insurgents and Shi'ite militas on a daily basis. Some Shi'ite militias are not directly fighting the US (Badr organization), but many others (notably al-Sadr) clearly are.

Sorry, I don't care who you're attacking -- Al Qaeda is never one of the "good guys."

They will not be complaining in this case. There's no money in it.

And the poor bastard who was so quickly hanged obviously had nobody of any power behind him...probably just a bum off the street. So why would the UN or Amnesty International or Hillary Clinton care...just one less unwashed consuming precious oxygen.

THE WORLD IS SICK...WE NEED TO WIPE OUT THE CAUSE!!

As I said before, Al Queida will attack anyone who doen't agree with it. They even fought the Taliban in Afghaninstan before 9/11, and have fought with Islamic Jihad in Egypt, GIA in Algeria, and Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon. They have even fought each other on occasion.

Many other Islamic terrorist groups are appauled by Al Queida's wholesale attacks on other Muslims and see them as a corrupting force.

This all has a familiar ring to it. Its like the Marinus van der Lubbe incident of Feb 27th 1933 in Germany. (Reichstag fire) Then the Germans blamed the communists, now the Iranians blame us. In both cases neither the communists or us are the blame.
