I like Rudy a lot but I fear too many Republicans are putting all their eggs in this basket too soon.

"If he's chosen as the Republican candidate, his opponent has already won."
You can tell yourself that if you like, but the fact is that national polls show Giuliani leading Hillary. And Giuliani is much more likeable than Hillary, so he will benefit from the debates. He's a former prosecutor and is good at speaking on his feet.

Not if his opponent is Hitlery.
Between Rudy and the Great Satan Hitlery, it's a no brainier.
It's Rudy by far.

Maybe so but you win them one race at a time
Supposedly the GOP nominated a 'cokehead' and 2000 and won... So who knows.

I will be hanged if I will ever vote for him. To the social Conservatives, it doesn't matter who wins this election. They're all the same. The liberal press has made sure of it. All the "media chosen" candidates are socially liberal.

I love the way you pick and choosed what you want in order to discourage Freepers from voting for Rudy.
Giuliani said he believes global warming is occurring but is not sure how much is caused by humans, and suggested the U.S. should look at expanding its use of nuclear power and other alternative energy sources.

Luckily, Rudy has a very good chance of winning, even without your vote.
Hey, it's democracy, we can't all vote for the same guy.

What if Hunter was his veep? They will never vote for him even if Hunter was his VP pick. It's not on their agenda.

Social conservatives rarely contribute to polls. They're a very private, church and family oriented people.

Likeable? Huh? I though his selling point was that he was a "fork in your eye" NY brass-knuckles name-caller?
Now he's warm and fuzzy?
No poll has a Third Party considered yet, and most polls have the election rather close when one considers Hitlery is despised by her own party right now - and that Rudy Giuliani has not yet had to face any fire on the Presidential campaign.
You keep telling yourself that nothing in his past will bother moderates, and that none of his issues will cost him votes with Conservatives, and that the Independents are in a GOP-like war mood begging for four more years of GOP Presidency and war.
By the time the press gets done with him, he'll lose big time. Because as those Independents peel off, he won't be picking-up any more Conservatives.

"Rudy: I do. I do believe there's global warming. Yes. And...and I...I think there are...I'm not a scientist all I can do is look at the reports. I think the last one said that...uh...ummm...fir-fir-first of all there's definitely global warming as far as I can tell. I guess the big question has always been how much is it, how much of it is happening because of just natural climate changes and progressions and how much is happening because of human intervention - carbon in particular - and the overwhelming majority of the scientists believe that there's significant human cause that's making it more difficult, making it worse. ~~~ Rudy Giuliani Press Conference, Silicon Valley, Feb 12, 2007 " He's right. He still acknowledges, that the question is how much, or how significant it is. By 2060, the total energy change is only ~0.35%, so it's small and insignificant. That's what folks have to learn.

Check my post #30. He's not sure how much is caused by humans. Way to spin it.
But the truth is that he first brings up that there's a question about how much is human caused - "carbon in particular" he said - and how much is natural and then he answers his own question about that by stating that the "overwhelming" majority of scientists say it is human caused.
I watched the video numerous times as I was compiling the transcript. I know what I saw and heard.
