Since Kerry is such a war hero, he should go to Iraq and help out. He can take his cowardly buddy Murtha with him. Knowing their anti-America politics, they would be helping the terrorists more than they are already.
Lurch must be talking about Gen Wesley Clark and Gen. Hussein Obama.
He (Kerry) also said that "if it requires more troops in order to create the stability that eliminates the chaos" discouraging the United Nations and other countries from helping, "that's what we have to do." Source
From SFGate.com: (5/28/04)
Sen. John Kerry, Bush's Democratic opponent in last year's presidential election, told NBC's "Today" show that the borders of Iraq "are porous" and said "we don't have enough troops" there. Source
The list could go on and on. He was against more troops, then he was for it. Now he's against it again. Who knows, maybe he'll change his mind again next week.
Exactly! Lurch has no clue about the responsibilities of the Commander in Chief. All theater commanders serve at his whim.
"Which Generals might those be"?
...maybe he means General Tso (chinese chicken) or General Mills (Lucky Charms) or the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard)...those generals.
Man has a screw loose.
Why would he listen to a bunch of generals that were too stoopid to keep from getting stuk in the milltary?
Start with General Vo Nguyen Giap
Hmmm, maybe that's why the framers of the Constitution made the President Commander in Chief, rather than making a congressional committee CIC.
Hey "Live Shot"....Good to know you
can still "make news" on an Astrology
News Website....
(smirk)
Did you, or did you not, vote to confirm General Petraeus in the recent Senate confirmation hearings?
Yes or No!
The only thing worse than Lurch as Teresa's sock-puppet is Lurch pretending to speak for the troops....
Did the creepy, effette gigalo ever sign the form 180, as he promised he would do?
No? Just checking on his credibility and integrity.
I'm sorry, but I just want to kick Kerry's a$$.
Once again the failed presidential candidate, "Hanoi" John Kerry, who was in Vietnam, attempts to be relevent.
The "even as" is both gratuitous and biased - should read, "...where more than..."
The "thousands of Iraqis have been killed" makes no mention of the thousands of civilians killed by the terrorists thus leaving the more gullible to assume that all Iraqi deaths are due to US forces.
Oh yeah - notice that it is "the US' invasion" and not "the coalition invasion"
Huyah , Huyah, snot pouring out the nose, Who cares Jon? Sorry but by invoking his name I can have no other response.
Anyone have the quote where effing K. said we need more troops on the ground.
