"It is better to let the public experience unchecked liberalism in order for conservatism to be fashionable again."
REPLY:
Great if their is anything left to govern after Hillary or Osama Obama neuter our military and socialize every aspect of ones life.
I am afraid that you need to think out just what it is your willing to give up to get you ideas appeased.
I believe I heard some Muslims in ski masks saying the same thing not to long ago, they gave up their lives for their narrow ideals.
UMH...also..I thought that was what 2006 was supposed to teach us stoopid unwashed.

"NeoCons don't like the South or Southerners. They're urban ethnics who walked away from the liberal wing of the Democratic Party in the 60's after the Left took it over and started bashing Israel."
I am not neo-con or an urban ethnic. I was brought up in a small town in Indiana and currently live in Georgia. I do not have a problem with small town or Dixie America. I consider them to be the back bone of the country. I am not a liberal I am simply some one who does not belong to an Evangelical church and am secular or Universalist in nature. I do not relate to Those Evangelical values but certainly do not despise them. I can work with same very well and find such to be a natural ally. Like you I happen to feel that there is a cultural war being waged against the American Middle class and I do not like liberals and liberal media types trying to cram their views down our throats and literaly take the country away from us.
Political values are cultural in nature and I relate to a different and more suburban culture. This translates into a different view of the world. Although I may have some views that Social Conservatives may view as liberal I am certainly not a liberal and agree with the small town types 80-90 % of the time. Just like I also disagree with some of the Wall Street types.
