Giuliani is nothing short of Hitlery Clintoon in pants.
Or evening gowns too.
If anyone would like to join the Rudy for President 2008 ping list, please freep mail areafiftyone, or post on this thread.
Thanks,
PKM
How refreshing - you read other peoples posts, you consider their point - you reply with a counter point.
Reasoned.
The cut and past crowd should please take notice.
Debate for heavens sake.
What do you do? Circle the forum so you can pounce on these threads? Carry on, soldier. LOL!
And maybe he just said what needed to be said to get elected. I could make the same argument regarding Reagan since he DID give us two pro abort judges. One mistake, okay, but two?
This article makes it quite clear that Rudy did absolutely nothing to push a pro abort agenda and in fact both abortions and Medicaid funded abortions in NYC went down below the national average while Rudy was Mayor.

And, as an aside, ultra social conservative Pat Robertson thinks Rudy would make a good president and said so on national television.
I don't really care for Robertson, but a fair number of conservatives like him and listen to him.
I realize that when the freeper posted links in his/her spam. I wanted to see what the article was about and one linked directly to a Deroy Murdock column slamming Rudy. I told the Freeper - you know that person who slammed Rudy in that article is now a fan of Rudy so in other words the article is mute now . He's pro-Rudy.
You nailed it! It's all they've got.
It's name recognition is why Rudy is doing so well in the polls. Stick around and see what happens.
The one issue agenda driven Freepers love to post noise on the Rudy threads so people cannot learn the facts but it is not working -- people just go right past the same noise they post day in and day out to get to the facts. :)
They are actually preparing those of us who work in campaigns to take on the DemocRATs in the general because by then we will all have been flame tested on here. So far flame suits are holding with no problem!
As I said, if you really believe that, why don't you write to National Review and ask for their back-up. I'm quite positive they'll be happy to supply it.
But then you couldn't continue on your little rant, could you? LOL
Thanks for the link Peach. It looks like a lot of conservative Bloggers are saying that too.
Exactly!
Well, yes. Most people do tend to vote for a candidate they've actually heard of.
Re: O'Connor and Kennedy.
Remember that Kennedy's seat was supposed to Robert Bork's and then Douglas Ginsberg's.
Heck it pretty much got down to Judge Silberman or Kennedy, and most people thought the Catholic was more likely to strike down Roe than the secular Jew. Little did they know....
And Kennedy was even good on abortion cases until they flipped him on Casey.
As for O'Connor, a mistake in so many ways... A decent federalist for the most part, but still....
I have noticed several writers and some of the blogs have gone from anti-Rudy to pro-Rudy as they have learned to know where he stands on the issues. It has been amazing to watch because it means they will not keep going down the same path when they learn the facts.
Noticed also that those writers going from being well liked on here to the scum of the earth by some Freepers when they switch after getting the facts.
Remember the good old days when they used to ban serial posters for disrupting the threads?
That is a good one!
