February 3 Statement from Islamic State of Iraq Emir Abu Omar al Bagdadi

On Saturday, Abu Omar al Baghdadi, Emir of the Islamic state of Iraq, released a 23 minute audio statement yesterday announcing his plan to counter the US troop surge. He claimed North Korea owes a debt to the Iraqi jihadists because without them they could not have conducted their nuclear test. He also claims that he expects the US to attack the Iranian nuclear facilities.

All praise is due to Allah. We praise him, we beg for His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We ask for the protection of Allah against the evil and we seek Allah's protection against the evils of our souls and from the negative consequences of our actions.

Whoever is guided by God cannot be misled by anyone, and whoever is denied guidance will find no one to guide him. I swear that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One, and he has no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.

God the Exalted says: O ye who believe! When ye meet the Unbelievers in battle, never turn your backs to them. God says: If you prayed for victory and judgment, now the judgment has come to you. If you refrain, it will be best for you. If you return, we will also. Your forces will you do no good even if they were multiplied, Allah is with those who believe!

Among the blessings that God is bestowing upon the is uniting them on the basis of monotheism, and making them build the state of Islam after the wind of communism, nationalism, and secularism swept the nation, making it suffer severely and subjecting it to oppression not to mention that its entity was violated and its sons were dispersed whereby the wolves of the Cross and foxes of Jews snatched them, and their intestines were slashed by the snakes of the tyrants and the scorpions of the Magi until God prepared men for this nation who do not accept injustice and hate humiliation.

The blood of the grandfathers, Prophet's companions, and the jealousy of the Prophets' followers run in their veins.

So, they called one another, shook off humiliation and submission, and broke the chains until the word of God prevailed at their hands, establishing the corners of the state of Islam in the lands of Al-Rashid again. They brought the good tidings which are a source of joy. These tidings gladden friends and despair to the despicable enemy.

In the recent past, their obeyed idiot, Bush, said that it is an ideological war. One of their key leaders; specifically, the former chief of Israeli intelligence, verified this saying that a third world war has started between the West and extremist Islam. After fighting us through agents and representatives for long years, he now leads the war barefaced.

In order to kill the beast, we must get it to leave its den, and it has done so. The idiot sent his army to where we laid ambushes and traps for it. When its feet sunk deep into the mud and the ropes of our sons became wrapped around its neck, our sons blocked roads and exits before him and deployed nets well around him. So, when he realized that he is surrounded, he gathered his human and jinn demons to consult them and seek their help. They unanimously told him that there is no way out for him because those are God's soldiers supported by angels.

Yet, they told Bush that they plot for his sake. Accordingly, they mustered their cunning, beat drums and blew horns; and declared the ir new security plans, which are in fact old plans.

Thus, we give good news to our Sunni kinsfolk that we announce a plan, which we have called Al-Karamah. It will be wide and well-planned, God willing. The plan does not include Baghdad alone; it includes all areas of the State of Islam. With this plan, we will expand the circle of battles. The plan will end when Bush announces the failure of his plan and signs a defeat agreement while in a state of disappointment and loss, God willing.

Its aims are: First, the protection of our people and our honor. Second, uprooting the apostates and destroying what remains of their pockets and bases of infidelity. Third, slaughtering the wounded Crusader giant and taking advantage of the collapse of the morale of their soldiers and commanders. Fourth, uniting the and strengthening the pillars of the State of Islam, may God preserve its pride.

Put in front of your eyes and in your mind the remains of children, the voices of widows, and the cries of the elderly. Break the volcano of anger, burn the land under the feet of Jews and their collaborators, annihilate their army, destroy their vehicles, shoot down their planes, and lay in wait everywhere for them. Ambush them in houses, valleys, and junctures. Use night as a cover and change their day into fire.

You should know that your grandfather Ubadat Bin al Samit told Jabalat Bin al Ayham, the agent of the Byzantines: O Jabalat, don't you know how God had made us win over you and led your tyrant to fly away? We know that we can easily deal with those who remained from your army. We do not fear those who fight us from your army and we have shed blood and found nothing better to shed than the Byzantine blood, so you should not miss this chance because they will leave tomorrow and then you will regret it.

Roast their flesh with booby-trapped cars, cut their limbs with explosive devices, and frighten their hearts with sniper fire. You should know that offense is the best defense. Beware of laying down your weapons before the war is over.

"And slacken not in following up the enemy: If ye are suffering hardships, they are suffering similar hardships; but ye have Hope from Allah, while they have none."

"So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith."

You should know that God has provided you with the principles of behavior during war when He said: "ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much; that ye may prosper: And obey Allah and His Messenger. and fall into no disputes, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere."

Let your shouts and slogans during battles be: Allah Akbar and Allah's Religion Is Triumphant. Raise your voices with these slogans and bear in your hearts their meanings since we do not fight for patriotic reasons but so that God's word be victorious. I would like also to emphasize the following facts to my brother who have not yet declared allegiance to the State of Islam:

First, they are our brothers whom we protect with our souls and say nothting against them. We do not accuse them of being atheists or immoral but we think that there is a sin by their failure to carry out the duty of this time, which is to be with the assembly (of Muslims), to adhere to the law of God, and to join their brothers in the State of Islam especially since we saw that atheism has rallied its ranks and came to us as in one row. Should we not then fight it with unified ranks?

"Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure."

Second, I tell my brothers, soldiers of the State of Islam: Fear God when you deal with your brothers, the . Do not speak ill of them, and do not let them see anything bad from you. We are still in the process of state-building, and the rules of the state are still unknown to many people. I am confident that the honest monotheists will be coming. So be kind and tolerant, O slaves of God.

As for the Russians, they have lost everything. The allies of yesterday are the enemies of today. The way America deals with its allies, the Arab rulers, is insulting and humiliating to an extent that makes one wonder. Saudi Arabia is sponsoring terrorism, and the garb of monks that was worn by Al Salool to make people obey their false deity is no longer satisfying to the US master. Likewise, the madness of Musharraf and his eager embrace of Uncle Sam have turned against him. He is not cooperating enough, as Cheney said. He was rewarded by generous nuclear agreements with the mortal enemies of his country, the Indians.

Oppressed people on earth: We are calling on you today to bridle a giant that only takes notice of people who have heavy feet. God has enabled us to kill more than 75,000 soldiers and more than double this number of wounded and disabled, many of them are from the mercenaries of gangs, who were eager to get a green card.

Therefore, we advise and warn them not to fall in the same trap in which Musharraf had fallen, where they would join hands with Washington to curb the zeal of jihad in Iraq. This is not useful for them at any level.

Nation of Islam: We are now standing at the same poi nt at which the companions stood with the messenger of God, may peace and blessings be upon him, at the early days of the Medina phase. Our battle with the Persians has started, just as it had started with the Romans, but the problem with the Persians is easier and more trivial than the problem with the Romans.

This is especially true once the United States carries out its expected limited nuclear strike against Iranian military and nuclear positions after the expected failure of Bush's security plan in Iraq.

This failure would force Bush to conclude a deal according with which he would withdraw from the state of Islam. This would give him an opportunity to curb the Persian empire. After the Americans realized that a conventional war is useless, especially after their bitter experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US Congress has developed a strong conviction that it is useless to go into a long dispute with the Iranians, for this would infuriate their allies and make the Americans lose a great deal of their cards.

Thus, a limited nuclear strike on Iran's nuclear reactor and military establishments would be more effective, useful, and quicker. So I appeal to the Sunnis in Iran to move away from now on from the major Iranian military establishments, especially the nuclear ones. I also appeal to them to be united and to close their ranks, for the day of their enemy's defeat is close, with the help of God.

Nation of Islam, my beloved nation: The Magians have capitalized on our people in Palestine. They were helped in that by a group of idiots, who fell into their laps. However, the All-Wise, All-Powerful God has ordained to expose their malice and uncover their rancor. To our brothers in the state of Islam: Know that your prayers are our strongest lance and sharpest weapon, so support us by your prayers. Strengthen yourselves by fear of God, both openly and secretly. The unity of our ranks raises our morale and deters our enemy.

"So feed people, spread peace, and pray at night while other people are asleep, you enter Paradise with peace."

That was the advice of your prophet when he entered Medina. Know that after difficulty there must be relief.

"And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not."

12,000 fighters 'deployed in Iraq'

The leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq has claimed the mobilisation of 12,000 fighters.

Al-Muhajir also gloated over the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld

Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayub al-Masri, said in an audio recording posted on the internet on Friday that the group had 10,000 others waiting to be equipped.

"The al-Qaeda army has 12,000 fighters in Iraq, and they have vowed to die for God's sake," said al-Muhajir in the recording whose authencity has not been independently verified.

He also pledged his allegiance to a new Islamist state in Iraq and its leader, who he said was Abu Omar al-Baghdadi.

In October, an Iraqi group that includes al-Qaeda in Iraq has announced that it has established an Islamic government in Iraq that consists of several provinces, including Baghdad, that have large Sunni populations.

Al-Muhajir also gloated over the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld, the US defence secretary.

He said: "I tell the lame duck [US administration] do not rush to escape as did your defence minister...stay on the battle ground."
