The Democratic Party is also "The Church of What's Happening Now"
(apologies to the departed Flip Wilson)
To get voters, the Democrats will go for the flavor du jour:
Slavery in the mid-1800s
Socialism in the late 1800s-early 1900s
Veiled Communism in the mid-1900s
Good-Time Bacchanalianism in the Clinton Era
and now
Islam in the early 21st Century.
What a bunch of slimey chameleons.

Their lives have been so corrupted & their thinking has already been so distorted by PC claptrap, they'll eventually drift to Islam, looking for meaning. The Democratic party will only be a naturally progression (or stepping stone).
