I think he handled questions about his faith well. I can't believe that people would hold that against him. It's not like a bunch of mormons flew airplanes into our buildings or anything.

Romney argued in his Nightline interview that looking back does not help the United States go forward in Iraq. In another interview he addressed Hillary's negativity and 20-20 hindsight.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/

The ever-rapid Clinton war-room spotted the item about Mr. Romney, saying he disagreed with Mrs. Clinton’s demand that President Bush extricate the United States from Iraq before he leaves office, and issued a rapid response.

“Unlike Governor Romney who supports George Bush’s failed policies in Iraq, Senator Clinton opposes the President’s escalation and has proposed a cap on troops to stop this failed policy,’’ said a spokesman, Phil Singer. “She believes the President has a responsibility to do everything possible while he’s in office to stabilize Iraq and bring American troops home.”

And Mr. Romney, heading out of an event this afternoon on his way to a fundraiser, stopped by to offer some more reaction to what Mrs. Clinton said.

“It’s not just Iraq,” he said. The Democratic senator from New York, said the Republican former governor, was failing to view the fight in Iraq as part of the broader war against jihadism, encompassing Afghanistan and much of the Middle East. To give in on Iraq, Mr. Romney suggested, would be walking away from the war on jihadism.

Good for Romney. Telling Hillary she just doesn't get it.

Chuck Norris doesn't need to sleep with a woman to reproduce. He simply stares her down and impregnates her.

Chuck Norris isn't running for president this year. Why would he want to be demoted?

"I think he handled questions about his faith well. I can't believe that people would hold that against him."

I agree, and evangelicals are recognizing that Romney is the best choice for people of faith who share common values.

Romney is getting endorsements and help from some very prominent evangelical activists involved in efforts to reverse the abuses of an anti-Christian, liberal judiciary and the ACLU. The judiciary is the ultimate battleground where social conservatives will achieve their goals. I find it very telling that conservative activists in the practice of law are lending support to Romney's campaign.

An excerpt from an excellent article, titled "What Evangelical Problem?", published at American Prospect Online is provided below:

________________________________

But none of this has stopped some of the Christian right's most influential power brokers from offering endorsements and strategic help, signaling that Romney is doing more than pandering on abortion and gay marriage. He’s on board to change the courts and their interpretation of the Constitution.

Jay Sekulow, the head of Pat Robertson’s American Center for Law and Justice (ALCJ) and one of the most prominent evangelical figures in the country, has placed his seal of approval on Romney and signed on to advise his campaign. Gary Marx, a former Bush campaign liaison to the evangelical community, is Romney’s Conservative Coalitions Director. Marx also heads up the Judicial Confirmation Network, which last year ran an ad ominously portraying "left-wing extremists" opposing the Alito Supreme Court nomination as supporting legal positions that were antithetical to "the real America."

And the blog Evangelicals for Mitt was co-founded by David French, a Harvard-educated lawyer who works for Sekulow's frequent ally, the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), which is James Dobson’s effort to undo the legal accomplishments of the American Civil Liberties Union. French has contributed articles to David Horowitz's Front Page magazine about the supposed suppression of Christian speech on college campuses, and last year he became head of ADF's new Center for Academic Freedom, which seeks to end “the unconstitutional persecution of Christian students on campus.” Its natural enemies, according to its website, are the Lambda Legal Defense Fund and the Human Rights Campaign. According to the ADF, it is gay people and political correctness on college campuses that silence Christians from condemning homosexuality as commanded by the Bible.

When the bogey man goes to sleep at night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

In "Jurassic Park," that wasn't the Tyrannosaurus chasing the jeep. Chuck Norris was chasing them both.
