No need to call them, they just updated the story on the 9PM news.

The company is not Wisconsin Owned just its website developer - designer lives at the address given. All of their operations are run out of Ohio Warehouses.

The individual that sent the e=mail has now been fired or so they claimed.

The Website is now down, so I would assume their website designer whatever was the individual who was dismissed, but not sure on that.

They also explained that the reason they do not ship to Iraq is because of package size restrictions. Honestly I am not buying that though because I know darn well some of those items are small enough to ship via APO

Fox6 in Milwaukee led off the 9pm news with this story. It was a wimpy story that simply said that "an employee was fired."

Given that this is apparently run by some islamic loser out of his parent's basement, I figure that is a lie.

Checking Google Earth, I see that his business address is in a residential neighborhood. Also looks like several storage buildings. Does the city allow businessess to operate out of resdidences?

I know most don't.

Just found this forum and I wanted to let everyone know that yesterday I sent out a Myspace post on Discount-Mats.com to the 5,000+ people in my friends list. Neil Cavuto - Fox News did a story on DMC today and I'm happy to announce that the owner of DMC is ducking for some serious cover. He claims his phone rings every 30 seconds around the clock -- from individuals wanting to show him how to properly use a rolled up Yoga mat! He also stated that he fired the guy who wrote that email, yadda, yadda, yadda - right!

My little brother is currently serving in Iraq with the 1st. Calvary Division. So I kinda took this one a little personal :)

My brother is in Iraq with the first calvary too, so this took on a personal aspect for me too.

I don't think the guy fired anybody 'cause I don't think he has any employees. As more and more info comes in, it's beginning to look like this is just some small-scale enterprise the guy was running out of his parents' house.

What makes this domain interesting? The only commonalities I see are the word "discount" and the fact that both are registered through Teknon Domains. That's like saying that two companies that registered their domains through Network Solutions are in cahoots... although I'll grant that "Teknon" doesn't sound common or local...

The area you think are storage buildings are in the commercial area along hwy 100 and Oklahoma Ave the actual house is in a residential area. And yes you can run a business out of a residence if it does not affect traffic which in this case it does not all shipping is done from Ohio and Franklin Wis as I understand it.
