Thar she blows!!! Get your kites out !!!
Alert!
Thanks for the warning!
hey thanks for the heads up!!It doesn't look like this alert is for the Los Angeles basin though..We NEED RAIN!!! boo hoo........
Damn Karl Rove weather machine ROFL
We had snow-fall in Julian two nights ago, but the fuel moisture is still near-zero. We could have the rather unusual experience of a brush fire on snow-covered hills.
GOOD to see you're on the job and thank you for the ping.
Hillary, get your broomstick! Time to go campaigning in SoCal!
Surely if it is cold enough to have snow on the hills,...no fire would dare start....
I just got on to see if any thing was going on...the Laker game on the Tube wasn't looking good for the Lakers....and the weather alert flag was ON in RED.
It is chilly so some warmth at the beach would be nice....but winds always get the fires going....NOT GOOD!
I see where my area is supposed to get rain all day tomorrow: good sleeping weather. Thanks for keeping me on your CA weather list.
This storm....or whatever it is .....will likely go thru your neighborhood in a few days...
*sigh* I am already sick of winter and have promised myself I will not complain about summer heat.
ahhh Julian the first place i saw snow back in 72 do they still roll up the sidewalks at dusk?
Lived in Highland, CA near San Bernardino 23 years.
Both blocks of them.
Again?!
Some CDF firefighters making a ton of overtime everytime these wind warnings and red flags are posted.
Looks that way!
