The heated controversy at ABC's top show, "Grey's Anatomy," boiled over Thursday as the network rebuked co-star Isaiah Washington for an anti-gay comment and Washington issued a lengthy apology.

"I apologize to T.R., my colleagues, the fans of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community for using a word that is unacceptable in any context or circumstance. What's wrong with this context:
It is a good thing to keep a fire going by putting a lot of faggots on it.
My sympathies to Washington. It is one thing to have to follow the path of Kramer and kiss Jesse Jackson's posterior.
It is another thing entirely to have to apologize to a bunch of f.., er people, who want to mess around with your posterior!

Well, I surely didn't know there was controversy. I'm shocked, SHOCKED(!) to hear there are homosexuals in Hollywood or that the folks there would make a show that glorified the lifestyle.
My wife watches that show so I had the misfortune to see part of one. Great Caesar's Ghost! That show is awful.
