The Boston mosque's Saudi connection
boston globe ^ | January 10, 2007 | Jeff Jacoby, Globe Columnist

SPEAKING AT the State Department in 1999, Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, a Sufi sheik and leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, sounded an alarm about Muslim houses of worship in the United States.

"The most dangerous thing that is going on now in these mosques . . . is the extremists' ideology," he said. "Because they are very active, they took over the mosques; . . . they took over more than 80 percent of the mosques that have been established in the US." He warned ominously that "a danger might suddenly come that you are not looking for . . . we don't know where it is going to hit."

When Kabbani was condemned by other Muslim organizations, he stood his ground. His assessment of the leadership of US mosques, he said, was based on having visited scores of them, and in a subsequent interview he explained the extremists' pattern of infiltration.

Muslim immigrants to the United States "came with a good heart . . . and they wanted a place to pray," Kabbani told the Middle East Quarterly. "They collected money and they built mosques in their community. Slowly, certain Middle Eastern groups seized these mosques, promoting political and ideological agendas rooted in their home countries' problems. . . . Slowly, such groups took over many mosques either directly or by unseen pressure on the moderate board members, and now an antagonistic mentality controls them. The extremists -- not ordinary believers -- changed the use of American mosques into centers of intolerant political dogma."

At the time, Kabbani's charges may have seemed little more than inside Muslim baseball. After Sept. 11, it

Saudi Arabia - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bibles are illegal. Churches are illegal. It is punishable by death for a non-mulsim to enter the "holy" muslim cities of Medina and Mecca.

I saw this Mosque when it was first going up. The I-Beams read Novel Iron Works. That wouldn't be Novel Iron Works started in Malden MA by the Noveltevsky family would it? Because, they're Jews. Guess they'll have to tear it down and start over with non-Jewish iron.

Can we be far from direct religious warfare in the U.S.?

How much longer, before the Islamists mistake tolerance for approval? Respect for weakness?

Where in the Islamic world, are Christians or Jews shown the same level of "welcome and tolerance" as they are shown here?

How much longer will the leftist "peace mongers" make excuses for the abuses of Islamists?

War, religious war, Jihad is coming to a neighborhood near you.......
With legal and illegal immigration puking uncounted numbers of un-assimilated lunatics in our country --- polite and measured reactions will have no effect.
What will be burning -- your church or their mosque?

They've learned well from x42 ... deny, deny, deny and plausable deniability.

They use our laws and freedom ... our independence and Constitution against us ... I fear the first blow will not be ny an Islamist.

Already in Detroit we've heard of reaction against a Muslim community ... Michigan being what it is, I don't expect much to come of it until it boils over ... police have not made any arrests, etc.

Saudi Arabia - where two old perverts can marry each other's teen daughters, screw the housemaid, and buy all the children they want.

Wow, Mosques connected to Saudi Arabia. The next thing you know we'll find out that Churches are connected to The Garden of Gethsemane. well maybe not the erstwhile Episcopal Church but that's another thread.

From the reports I've read here in FR ... it might even be non-Muslim against Muslim ... you know ... a 'hate crime'.

Look here

But if it sunni on shia, that's not a "hate crime?"

I don't believe in designating anything a hate crime. That's for the thought police.

I had held out a secret hope that, perhaps, the one benefit from illegal immigration is that it would give the US a solid, hard-core Christian (Catholic) base to fight Islamic Imperialism.

But from the protests the illegals have held over the past couple of years, and based upon those they elect and the economic doctrines they cite, it is obvious that many of them are Socialists before Christians.

As the militant Islamics teamed up with another great Socialist organization known as Nazis, we can fear that many of the Socialists slipping illegally over our borders will also unite with Islamic Imperialists to destroy America. Of course, both groups, temporarily united by a common hatred, believe they will be able to toss the other out when we are all gone or subjected.

We are, indeed, about to face the fight of our country's life. I only hope there are enough real men left in this country to do justice to all our forefathers who sacrificed all they had to pass the torch of freedom down to us.

Great find..........where'd you get it?

If this mosque scandal continues to unravel this could be like polonium 210 in Kerry's already greatly diminished political foie gras

This fight has been going on for years. The David Project is involved, the Muslims have sued the Herald, Fox25, the Globe and more for ridiculous reasons. The whole thing has been dirty from the get go and it starts with Mayor Menino and his assisitant BRA director's dirty land deal.
The lawsuits as well as the mosque are revolting and need to be stopped.
