Well it pretty easy, the democrats gained 30 seats and 10 of those pickups came from Tancredo's caucus, including such big names as Hayworth and Hostettler who made immigration a big part of their campaigns.

I see your little game, Dane.

There were over 100 members of the GOP House in Tancredo's caucus.

I'll be generous to you and say they were only 45 percent of the House GOP.

So a body that represents 45 percent of the House GOP had members lose 1/3 of the lost seats. So, in simple, honest terms, they lost at a lesser rate than non-caucus members.

Smoke that, weasel-boy. You're too dishonest to mention the little detail as to how many members were in the caucus.

Family and I stayed at a Marriot hotel in Kansas over the holidays. The Mexican maids woke us up, rapping at our window at 7:00 AM. There were no `DND' signs. They didn't speak English. Finally one said, "No service?" and I replied, "Si".

I think Bush sees his role as taking all the hits with the GOP base with unpopular issues and enabling the 2008 GOP successor to run free of the wedge issues.

For example, Bush can support a guest worker program and raise the minimum wage , thus freeing Rudy, McCain, & Mitt from having to make definite stands on these issues.

Oh, I believe you are right. I just think it is a mistake.
People are getting really ticked off at the GOP right now, for several reasons.

`Animus'. Wow, that's a big word for you Dane.
You are correct. I am hostile towards anyone or any company that wants to sing the blues, but using my dues.
Your apparent membership in one of those organizations, by citing that article, explains your fanatical support of another amnesty.
Excuse me: "comprehensive immigration reform."
(See tagline.)

The big business lobby in Washington, the one that contributes large sums of cash to GOP campaigns, wants this bill passed.

Dane, you lie like a rug, now that I've traced your words through this thread. First, you said this:

If true then why did voters vote in nancy pelosi and the democrats and that 1/3 of the GOP of Tancredos's immigration caucus, lost.

And then you said this:

Well it pretty easy, the democrats gained 30 seats and 10 of those pickups came from Tancredo's caucus

Not that 1/3 of Tancredo's caucus lost, but that 1/3 of the losses came from his caucus.

I know you don't care much about credibility, but this is just another shot in what little is left in yours.

Tancredo's immigration group has 70+ members and I don't think 1/3 of them lost last November. The big loss was JD Hayworth, but his oppenent ran to the right of him on immigration.

Securing the borders and enforcing current immigration laws is a huge political winner. Somethng like 80 percent of the public is behind it. Amnesty is a sure loser. No matter how many bogus polls the Wall Street Journal or the corporate welfare pimps run. Last November one Democrat after another ran to the right of the GOP on the issue.

See my post #50 - Dane was playing word games. I doubt he'll renounce post #8, however. He'll just slink off to come up with a new lie to use until it gets rebutted.

I could care less about Dane's gender. She certainly has no problem lying on FR, and that's the issue here.

That's ok--as long as they (1) Register; (2) Prove they have a job; (3) Prove they are not criminals, either here or in Mexico; (4) Prove they are not mentally or physically ill; and, (5) SPEAK AND READ ENGLISH COMPETENTLY!!!!!!!!!
