Wussies....

I guess YouTube forgot to add the caption, "Don't try this at home."
Wow. You NEVER hear this basic truism in this country anymore.
Natural selection at work.
I see no reason for the pictures to be shown on TV, period! Especially during newscasts and other TV programming watched by children. Honestly, there is nothing informative about showing these pictures. They don't add value to the news story that he is dead now.
It would be the fault of the Big Corporations and lack of Federal funding for child safety programs!
"We have years of experience which keeps us safe. So don't try any of this at home. Ever."

I guess he was in such a hurry to meet those 72 virgins he forgot about the bomb and focused on the suicide part. We need to encourage more of this kind of Islamic terrorist.
Sure they do.
"Don't grow up to be a psychotic mass murdering dictator kiddies or you'll end up swinging from a rope just like the bad man on TV."

I as a parent, I can teach them that. No need TV images.
YouTube only feels Michele Malkin's political missives are worth the "adults only" category; Saddam's execution was presumably "all ages".
Agreed.
In fact, we need to show more crime deterring consequences in this country....
And Charles Darwin smiles up on him.....
Weren't the photos of Mussolini's crushed skull published in newspapers back during WWII?
That is a frozen image of something even more graphic (the crowd kicked his head in after hanging).
There is an easy fix. Turn off the television, and the kiddies won't see it.
I find it really easy to avoid programming that I don't want my children to see. Not just because it may be graphic like the hanging of a dictator.
But because I know television programming is filled with poor language, low-brow humor, sexism, and blasphemous material.
It is MY responsibility to protect my childrens' innocence and I am diligent about it.
Was it carelessness of the parents because they allowed the children to watch the replays on TV or because they were playing alone in the other room?
Then by all means do so. But I want my kid to see his nasty carcass dancing at the end of a rope.
So you can take your kids out of the room, or turn the idiot box off. But please don't take my choice away from me.
Thanks in advance.

Just because you CAN, doesn't necessarily mean that you WILL - this, one the other hand, WILL do it whether you want to or not.
Another thing - showing it also scotches any rumors that Hussein is still alive (it never happened, a dummy was used, etc). No need to depend on eyewitnesses.
