Thanks to WILCO's song, "Poor Places", I became interested in the source for the haunting 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' audio sample.

The Conet Project had hundreds of recordings, and remains one of the curiosities of my CD collection.

I don;t know if they are still for sale, however.

Yeah, The Conet Project is a really cool, bizarre record. I would always use that to spice up mixtapes by throwing some of those disembodied voices reciting numbers in between songs.

Cal, I had found a bunch of sites that had the number code as a newsletter, but Struwwelpeter, had a good site and I can't find it.

There are sites that say you can listen on line, but with dial up internet, I get into broken sounds and videos.
