I suspect the doctor's refusal to treat a male patient wasn't by choice, but a decision made in fear of the consequences from Islamists.
Turkey isn't an Islamic country ... not in the sense of Iran or Saudi Arabia, anyway.
You are correct.
Please note however, that when I posted this from the MEMRI blog, the title read "17 yr old Loses Testical in Turkish Hospital Due to Shari'a"
I merely pasted the title onto the FR posting.
MEMRI must have updated/edited the title since.
Over there they are considered adults when they're old enough to rape Western women.
[Alas, one testical works just as well as two for that purpose.]
That may be true but you're always off balance, and noone lieks being off balance
A dent in MEMRI's credibility, IMHO
By the way, medical personnel are not allowed to work with headscarves (not veils - nooone wears veils except for maybe a few hundred ultra-nutcases) in government hospitals. The same goes for all civil workers in all government offices.
Turkey is the same as Saudi Arabia with a veneer - thin - of western freedom. Scratch the surface and you'll get the stench of islam. Christian communities cannot legally be recognised and so are unable to acquire property or open bank accounts. They cannot register their land which is consequently considered state property which can be claimed by the state at any time.
At best, Christians are sneered at and are subject to all forms of discrimination. At worst, well..we know (do you?) what happened to them in the pogroms of the 50s and the genocides of earlier years.
Turkey is an islamic country...99.99% islamic after butchering off the Christians that used to live there.
Try passing out some Bibles and see what happens.
