Donald Trump Theatens To Sue Rosie O'Donnell
POSTED: 6:58 am EST December 21, 2006 UPDATED: 7:41 am EST December 21, 2006 NEW YORK -- The Miss USA partying episode has led to a war of words between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump.
O'Donnell told her audience on ABC's "The View," Wednesday that Trump's news conference with Miss USA Tara Conner had annoyed her "on a multitude of levels."
O'Donnell said Trump should not be the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America. She said he's divorced two times and had affairs.
Trump lashed back at O'Donnell on the entertainment show "The Insider," criticizing everything from her looks to her former television talk show and magazine.

As much as I hate Rosie, I have to ask:

Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnal are plummeting to the ground from a forty story building. You have a choice:
Do you have dinner or go see a movie?

I bet they have drinks together and laugh at the MSM after they trash each other. this is a circus.
To: Sub-Driver
The Donald should have stuck to the issue rather than lowering himself to verbal insults about her looks and her show. That was really petty.
OTOH, I find it interesting that Rosie O'Donnel took the position she did. After all, being the BIG lib that she is, you would think that she would have welcomed Trumps magnanamous dealings with Ms. Conner.

I have little respect for him as a businessman. Bankruptcy has followed him everywhere. Were it not for his daddy he'd be managing a McDonalds somewhere. What he is is a skilled self promoter and a narcissist. I just hope the judge finds some loophole that allows both to be sent to prison for life.

I hadn't known that either one of these people were considered "moral compasses."

Rosie's gross, but a girl on her way to rehab, an obviously trashy chick, beautiful though she is, is hardly a proper role model, and for the Donald to promote her as such is laughable. But Rosie is certainly no role model either. I think it's safe to say that they are both high on the gross scale. Where are the role models? They are serving in the military, they are nurses, doctors, etc., and you won't see them on TV, in a bathing suit.

Yup. Only Trump can run a casino into bankruptcy. Every other casino makes money hand-over-fist. Typical spoon fed brat, born on third and acts like he hit a triple.
Trump is a barely literate. George Bush speaks more coherently than The Donald, who uses the word "amazing" in every other sentence. He "tawks" like a valley girl.

Trump may be a lot of things, many of them objectionable, but if his objective is to sue that fat tub of lard calling itself Rosie O'Donnell and perhaps shut her ass up for good, I'm all for it.

I hear enough corporate weasel-words during the workday, it's refreshing to see him respond to the Fat One's comments like he's in a street fight.
Like I said before, this reminds me of nothing so much as the lead-up to a WWE cage match.

I'm not a huge fan of the Donald, but I have come to admire him more than in the past. I believe he graduated first in his class at Wharton, no small feat, and I've yet to know a commercial developer who hasn't filed bankruptcy to make it through the down cycles. His kids are pretty impressive also. That aside, unlike us lowly people, the mistakes he and Rosie make are for all to see. The insatiable appetite some people have for celebrity is pretty sad.

You know I wonder if this is a part of a plan to increase viewers on "The View". I think that because the viewers have increased a bit since she took over, they are trying to get even more viewers. You know even negative news is good news in Hollywood - which is strange, but it seems to work. The thing I don't get is that millions liked her on the Rosie O'Donnell show where she was nice and still maintained viewers and I do believe that she did have decent ratings and just wanted to do something different. Anyway, I don't think that Donald has any grounds to sue especially since what Rosie said was basically true. We shall see how this plays out. Obviously I am not that interested, but will wait and see what my fellow FRiends post on the subject.

You know, hunter....after I posted that and thought about it for a moment, I also came to the conclusion that lesbians in particular (like Rosie) really are jealous of svelte, toned, good looking (if not just alittle vacuous) women like those that enter beauty pageants.
Thanks!
