The FOX report just did a piece about Barack Obama, and he was asked whether Americans were ready to have an African-American as president.
Well, he answered to the effect that there were a few/some Americans who would not vote for him based on his race, but then again, those were probably the same people who didn't share his politics!

I never said that. I'm sure there are still some knuckle-dragging, bigoted cavemen out there who wouldn't, but that does not encompass the whole, or even part, of real conservatism.
