The mainstream media moguls of CNN, and all of the major news sources on the internet totally ignore the fact that the schmuck in Chicago that was planning on killing innocent men, women and children is in fact a Muslim! “Ideological motivation” is the new politically correct catch phrase for Muslim/Islamic Terrorist type person who wants to kill Americans, Christians, and Jews. DECEMBER 8—An Illinois man plotted to set off hand grenades at shopping malls in a holiday season terror campaign that was thwarted by federal investigators. According to an FBI affidavit, Derrick Shareef, 22, told a confidential source that he wanted to “commit violent acts of jihad,” and spoke of killing judges and blowing up public buildings. A copy of the affidavit can be found below. Shareef told the snitch that he sought “to disrupt Christmas,” adding that, “I swear by Allah man, I’m down for it too, I’m down for the cause, I’m down to live for the cause and die for the cause, man.” The document does not further describe the supposed cause of Shareef, who was named today in a federal felony complaint. Shareef is quoted telling the FBI source, “I probably would have eventually ended up stabbing the shit outta some Jews or something. Just stabbing them niggers with a steak knife…Because during that war with Hezbollah, man, I had already started to look at synagogues out here…”

All schools were closed on a Monday, in lockdown on Tuesday, and had police presence for a few days after. I haven't heard a word since, but I now wonder if this POS had anything to do with that. Probably not, but it could be. We're actually closer to Rockford than the DeKalb County courthouse that he's mentioned as a possible target.

The school threat was in the form of a letter sent to one of the schools (as I understand it). It was decided to close all the schools that Monday, and continue a police presence later, as a precaution. If this raghead was involved, then the Feds likely know it, yet I've read nothing to indicate his involvement. Thus, I'm skeptical. The only thing that relates the two stories is the timing. But, it does make me wonder.
I found the school threat interesting because our police chief spoke at our weekly Kiwanis Golden K meeting on Thursday, then the Sunday paper contained the news of the threat and the intended closure of schools on Monday. He sure kept a straight face during his speech, yet I'm confident he had to know on Thursday of the threat. I have to give him credit for his professionalism.
As to his 'lone wolf' status; it's possible, but as my wife said this morning, his friends have to be pretty bugged out right now. They're certainly under observation as well. Who knows what will turn up.

I question the "lone" part because here in Oklahoma, we had something similar--except this guy actually blew himself up once he was denied entry into a packed sports stadium at OU (some 85,000+ inside), and that's exactly how they described him. Yet, we knew that he had been visiting a nearby "Islamic Association" (aka mosque), and that his roommate was not only ME, but had a one way ticket to a ME country. All of that quickly fell off the front pages, and it went down as a "lone suicide." Apparently, lots of people happily forgot what had really happened.
And now one of them is in our Congress, ain't American great?
That's a good point about the mosque. These 'lone wolf' ragheads are certainly getting support there, whether or not another individual is actively involved in such plots. I listen to overseas radio via the internet and there is a thought he might have done this to himself. Also, now that they are checking a apartment in Hamburg, Germany where the 9/11 people did there planning it makes me wonder if this is tied to a foiled plan. We are living in very dangerous times.
I read the affidavit, and even copied it to a pdf file. Beyond the obvious muslim connection, as well as the racist language, I find it interesting that they made their second visit to the mall on Friday, December 1st.
We had a major winter storm come through the area that night (Thursday) and the morning of the 1st. We had 15" fall in our town which is about 30 miles south of the mall. Roads were snow packed on Friday, schools, city offices and businesses were closed, major blowing after the snow stopped, etc. I believe Rockford received less snow than we, but the fact they visited the mall that day proves (to me, anyway) how serious this raghead was. He wanted to get the job done.
