Well, surprise, surprise!
Keep praying folks for the meltdown of Iran. If they are fighting within, they can't be fighting out. Admadinejad is just a figurehead anyway. The real power rests with the Ayatollahs. Funny how they elect a guy to be Supreme Leader and then watch his every move. Not much trust there. Maybe this is a great time for an uprising by the pro-Democracy people. Take a few Ayatollahs to the soccer stadium along with their puppet.
Wonder what Admadinejad will put on his application at the unemployment department? Or what his next post will be?

Not if the Ayatollahs don't let him. He is just a figurehead anyway. It is the Ayatollahs that weild the power.

The mullahs couldn't cut him any shorter so they cut his term.
Yeah...that makes sense...in bizarro land.

I am sure any future elections will be as transparent, with as much uncensored robust debate, as Venezuela's.

Maybe they'll reap what they're sowing in Iraq and harvest a civil war in Iran. Only half the Iranians are ethnically Iranian. I'd prefer peace and democracy, but if that's not possible, my next preference would be the Iranians self-flagellating themselves into the ditch. Beats Mahmoud pitching A-bombs.

Does Iran have 100% voter turnout as Iraq did under Hussein's reign? Nope, but all candidates have to get approval by the Mullahs to get on the ballot. The only form of protest left is refusing to vote & those who don't vote find their jobs or acceptance to school at risk.
