'uncontrolled immigration'

How is that against immigration? It's pretty reasonable to want to control who comes into the country.

I think you would want to choose the best of the world, not the rest.

i understand your point.

What i dont understand why Tancredo attack on Miami, where most Cuban immigrants are legal. It does not make any sense, there are better examples to pick.

The problem to him[my take on it] is the fact that most of the business, local community and other civil actions are conducted in Spanish and other languages other than English.

There are better examples to pick? Los Angeles is one, which is a mess thanks to illegal immigration. Detroit another mess, thanks to ghettoes and middle east immigrants.

But Miami? It does not have share a land border with any nation. It is a vibrant city and its Latin culture is different than the culture of LA,southern texas etc. I dont see tourists or residents having a problem there conversing in English, the spanish usage problem is overblown and does not worry me. But hey even Chinatowns in major American cities dont have English signages and folks like Tancredo dont seem to mind,it is only Spanish that is bothering Tancredo. It has nothing to do with the issue of illegal immigration.

'It has nothing to do with the issue of illegal immigration.'

Your exactly right. Which proves his point of 'uncontrolled immigration'. Miami is a perfect example of a legal immigration gone bad in certain areas.

Later, gnight

REAGAN MAN WROTE: "Both Jeb and his big brother the Prez, are supporters of amnesty and a path to citizenship for 15 million illegals already living in the USA. America's sovereignty means nothing to the Bush`s. Tom Tancredo is 100% RIGHT!"

BINGO!!! Tom Tancredo is 100% RIGHT!

I am so DISGUSTED with Bush on his INSISTANCE on having amnesty or he won't secure the border, I could just yell!!! (Can you tell?)

And I'm a BUSH ELECTOR!!!!!

I called the White House before and after the election to express my frustration with Bush's INSANE INSISTANCE on AMNESTY.

Bush seems to think that REWARDING people for VIOLATING our borders, and for COMMITTING ID FRAUD, IRS FRAUD, SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD, and VOTER FRAUD warrants the flippant awarding of precious U. S. CITIZENSHIP. How many different kinds of fraud do ILLEGAL ALIENS need to commit before he "gets it" that such people need to be REMOVED from the country or be IMPRISONED???

Bush's problem is that he doesn't seem to realize his low numbers are NOT because RATs don't support him...it's because REPUBLICANS don't support his INSISTANCE on AMNESTY (and his LIBERAL position on other issues).

When I saw Bush look ABSOLUTELY GIDDY when he met Pelosi at the White House, I almost threw up! I KNEW he figured he could now get his AMNESTY program through Congress. When he said he plans to "work together" with the RATs, my FIRST thought was why doesn't he first start to "work together" with his OWN BASE!!!

Bush's problem is that he does NOT support the Party Platform. For those who think a RINO in 2008 is the way to win the White House, instead of supporting a candidate who SUPPORTS THE PARTY PLATFORM, you need to get your head examined!

Mr. President, please repeat after me:

CONSERVATISM WINS!!! And It's NEVER wrong to do what's RIGHT!!!

CONSERVATISM WINS!!! And It's NEVER wrong to do what's RIGHT!!!

CONSERVATISM WINS!!! And It's NEVER wrong to do what's RIGHT!!!

Mr. President, please remember: You are NOT the President of Mexico! You are the President of the USA!!! With all due respect, PLEASE ACT LIKE IT!!!!!

You do know his first name is Jeb don't you, and personally based on economic terms alone I'd rather live in Miami than Detroit.

How come Tancredo never syas a word about Detroit. I guess he thinks Detroit should be the model for every American city.

F* Tancredo. Florida is my home. Miami is a playground. Latinos are NOT the end of civilization. Illegal immigration is a policy issue, but don't chuck my family out the window because we happen to speak Spanish.

Dammit. Not every Latino is illegal, and the Cubans in Miami have saved the city from the scumhole it used to be. Don't like it? Stay the hell outta Florida, amigo.

It's just a @#$! ignorant statement.

How the heck do people expect conservative Latinos to feel comfortable in a party where other members continue to attack them? Where the heck is any thought behind this thinking? Has even been to Miami? Look, we have problems here, they are called Democrats. They are the collective reason we have any issues here. Try not to toss out the baby with the bath water, though.

Jeez, what a jerk Tancredo has proven to be.

See 'compassion' is the name of the political/religious game these days. There is the spirit of Esau emanating out of the moderate middle elitists, Esau could have care less about his heritage or his inheritance.

LOL! What pathetic spin. I would even vote for Tancredo if he was the candidate against hillary.

As for the criticism of Tancredo, more and more are seeing that he is a self-aggrandizing bomb thrower, who sees no problem in alienating his politcal allies.

I'll ask you on purely economic terms where would you rather live Miami or Detroit?

Well Tancredo said Miami is a third world country, but their is a lot more money floating around Miami than any of Colorado's cities. One can only assume Tancredo thinks Miami is third-world because of the culture there. There is no economic data to support his claim. Detroit doesn't have many latinos and is more third-world than Miami.

"As Miami is becoming indistinguishable from the Third World, if we do not secure our borders, the rest of America will soon become indistinguishable for America."

Yeah with all that indoor plumbing, Five-Star hotels, 50-foot yachts, and booming economy, one can really see the similarities between Miami and Mogadishu. Tancredo really has some intelligent insightful commentary about his own country.

I don't think any cities in America resemble third-world counties, and anyone who does holds an idiotic position. Miami has a better economy than anywhere in Colorado, and it has been that way for a long time.

What you're describing in this part of your post, is chaos and anarchy. The breakdown of civil society. Obviously, in this case the rule of law means nothing to Pres Bush. Most of our other elected officials are no better either.
