"The article fails to mention that Carter probably got 80% of the nonobservant Jewish vote"

Why is that?

Carter betrayed the Shah of Iran to the Islamofascists and the Shah was among the most loyal allies America has ever had and this has inspired the jihadists to this day. He then stood impotent as the jihadists made a mockery of the United States for 444 days.

Carter stripped America of it's military power without even firing any weapons.

Carter betrayed Taiwan to the Chicoms.

Carter's response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was to simply destroy the dreams of American Olympic athletes.

Had Carter been in office another year the Soviets would have invaded Poland.

Carter gladly accepted every drug dealer, rapist and murderer that Castro no longer wanted.

And Carter did all of this while presiding over what was probably the worst economy in American history (any accepted economics model will show that nearly continual recessions, stock market stagnation, skyrocketing unemployment, skyrocketing inflation, stagnant personal income and rising interest rates are conditions that cannot exist simultaneously).

So, in my opinion, Carter was either a complicit accessory to America's enemies or the most incompetent man to ever occupy the White House.

"Carter betrayed Taiwan to the Chicoms."

And don't forget the Panama Canal.

"Carter was the worst president in the last 50 years...second was Johnson."
Actually Klinton was second. Johnson's claim to fame is his ability to hire assassins.

And don't forget the Panama Canal.

I was nine years old when this POS took office, it's tough for me to remember all of the incredibly anti-American treachery he committed.

If ever a President should have been impeached, it's Jimmah. Is it too late?

Maybe not. It appears that we're going to be attempting to impeach every president that comes into office--whether there are grounds [Clinton] or not [Bush]. Why not make it retroactive?

I'll disagree. Johnson was worse because he was more effective. If Carter hadn't surrounded himself largely with buffoons, he would have easily taken the title.

I'd want a front row seat to that trial. It would be the most fun I've had in a long time.

Jimmy Carter is revealed as the traitor that he is ! He betrayed us when he gave away the Panama Canal. He sold out the Shah of Iran who was one our biggest supporters and the loss of our strategic listening post into the Soviet Union and the thorn into our side they are today.

He also treated Israel like cr@p and this is why we had some of the curses in that day such as Stagflation, long gas lines, one energy crisis after another. Being the laughing stock of the World.

> If the old Soviet Union secretly succeeded in getting one of their moles all the way into the Presidency, the most likely suspect is noneother than Jimmy Carter.

I'm not saying that Carter's presidency was anything but an utter failure, but what do you base your assertion that he was a Soviet mole on? The impeached POS actually did travel to Moscow when vacationing on his Rhodes scholarship, and there was an opportunity for recruitment at that time. But Carter? He is nothing more than a complete ass.

Unfortueanely if he could run again he'd get the JINO lib vote.

Don't give the SOB any ideas. Since he only served one term, it would be perfectly legal for him to serve a second term. Then he could qualify as both the worst and second worst President.

Me too, from Georgia, stood in line for over two hours just to vote for him. Bought a house during his term at 17-1/2 percent interest rate. Boy I was fooled.

Worst president of the modern era.
Possibly worst president of the 20th Century.
Maybe, the worst president in history.
