KOSOVO: BOMB EXPLODES IN SERBIAN SCHOOL

Pristina, 21 Nov. (AKI) - An explosive device went off early on Tuesday morning in a Serbian elementary school in the central Kosovo village of Ropotovo, but there were no casualties, police said. Kosovo police spokesman Veton Elsani said the device was placed in a storage cupboard. Fortunately, the classroom, which can hold up to 200 pupils, was empty, because the teacher didn’t show up for the classes and, apart from material damage, there were no injuries, he said.

“By chance, due to the teacher’s absence, the fifth grade classroom in which the explosion took place was empty and the tragedy was avoided,” said a school official Zivorad Tomic. He said the school is usually attended by 450 ethnic Serb pupils, but all classes were later cancelled.

Violent incidents have lately increased in the breakaway Kosovo province, where majority ethnic Albanians demand independence, as the international community nears a decision on the final status of Kosovo. The province, in which ethnic Albanians outnumber the remaining Serbs by 17 to one, has been under United Nations control since 1999, but Belgrade opposes independence and reaffirmed Serbia's sovreignty over the area in its new constitution, approved recently.

Violence flared in the province when the Kosovo Liberation Army, supported by ethnic Albanians, came out in open rebellion against Serbian rule in the mid-1990s, sparking a brutal Yugoslav military crackdown.

Serbian forces began an 'ethnic cleansing' campaign against up to half of Kosovo's ethnic Albanians in 1999 triggering a NATO bombing campaign that drove Serb forces from the province. Some 800,000 people fled to Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro and approximately 10,000 died in the conflict.

Over 200,000 Serbs have fled Kosovo since it was put under UN control and some 3,000 have been killed or listed as missing, according to the International Red Cross. It believes about 1,500 have been murdered.

How come the Serbs no longer fight back?

Because they've been ethnically cleansed by mass illegal immigration of muslim Albanians, with the help of the Clinton and Bush State Depts.

"in which ethnic Albanians outnumber the remaining Serbs by 17 to one,"

Man I vote for guerilla warfare in defence of Serbs.
If no on ewill help, Serbs must organise themselves and start guerilla war. UN are just muslim scumbags and NATO wont protect Serbs.

I dent belive in peacefull resolution.

Serbs are ghettoised like Jews in Warsaw ghetto. Sorrunded by SS (muslims in this case).

UN, EU and USA are treathening Serbia not to intervene, Albanians were awarded my "protection corp." troops of mujahedeens and KLA murderers formed into oficial UN organised troops.

Serbs have nothing.

I suppose the Serbs understand by now that to fight would be to be completely destroyed by Nato/UN/etc. They stand alone, which really stinks.

If Bill Clinton was a Republican, you would've heard the MSM/actorvists continually talk about he "rushed" us into the war over "lies" just to cover up his own corruption. And that there were 200,000 dead plus or minus 100,000.

Or rather "200,000 dead plus or minus 199,000".

Whatever the truth, it is telling that while there are mass graves everywhere to be found in Iraq, and the media have no interest in them, they have yet to find Clinton's mass graves in Kosovo.

A recent case has a Serb officer being tried for the death of 14 kosovars, which is tragic if they were innocents, but its a far cry from Clinton's supposed 100,000 victims of genocide.

Because NATO gave the Muslims an airforce, then put troops in on the ground to 'protect' them from a non-existent 'genocide'.

The sense of being stabbed in the back is probably enervating even to the spiritual heirs of St. Lazar, who might otherwise fight in a hopeless cause.

>>>>>>>>Over 200,000 Serbs have fled Kosovo since it was put under UN control and some 3,000 have been killed or listed as missing, according to the International Red Cross. It believes about 1,500 have been murdered.<<<<<<

It is important to put the numbers in perspective. During 1998-March 1999 counterterrorist activities a total of 3000 people died, approximatelly 1500 Albanians and 1500 Serbs- The casualties are documented and breakdown exists for Albanian civilians, Albanian terrorists, Serb civilians, Serb police and Army. The signifficant number of Albanian civilians was murdered by Albanian terrorists.

After the war, additional 1000 Albanian civilians were murdered by KLA with NATO looking the other way.

That means that NATO-sponsored KLA murdered over 2000 people before the war and at least 2500 people after the war.

This explains the lie of 10,000 people killed during the war. It is book cooking, NATO-style.

The only crime commited in Kosovo is the crime against peace commited by joint criminal enterprise of NATO and KLA.

They keep saying "ethnic Albanians" to describe those who are Muslims who invaded Serbian areas, then outbred the Serbs, took over and used force and allies to ethnically cleanse their conquered territory of the remaining Serbs.

God's Mercy and a host of angels protected them.

Every Albanian Muslim belongs in Albania. They do not belong in Kosovo.

Islam is a cult of death and murder -- you hear that Pres. Bush?!

Aaaaaaannd!
Parallel news from Kosovo, from mouth of Albanian Muslim "prime minister":

Kosovo Leader Says Province Ready for Independence

The prime minister of Kosovo says the U.N.-administered province is ready for independence from Serbia, and urged the international community not to delay any longer in deciding Kosovo's future status. Sabina Castelfranco reports for VOA from Rome.

Agim Ceku (file photo)

Agim Ceku told reporters in Rome Kosovo's status must be determined soon, to facilitate development in the region.

U.N.-brokered talks on Kosovo's status were to have yielded a decision late this year, but the decision is being delayed until after Serbian parliamentary elections in January.

Ceku, who is on a tour of European capitals, said he envisions an independent Kosovo as a modern democratic state that is multi-ethnic, tolerant, secular and has prospects of joining the European Union.

"We think that the only solution for Kosovo is independence, but an independence that guarantees all rights to the minorities living in Kosovo and with an international civilian and military presence that controls the implementation of the accord on the status," he said.
