W wouldn't have had "all these problems" if he'd not left Trent hanging out to dry.

Two points that I didn't make yesterday. It is Congress who does the spending. We can blame Bush for not vetoing, but Congress gets the blame for the spending.

And I have to comment on your wretched 'failure to rouse continued support for the troops' filth that I somehow let go by yesterday.

He is the ONLY one supporting the troops. The Republicans have been mute and the Democrats on the attack.

You cannot seriously believe that spurious attack on the Commander in Chief......not if you have a brain cell left inside your head.

Now for my final point about your tagline. I actually appreciate the fact that you have finally come completely out of the closet as a liberal, junk. There is now no doubt as to with whom you sleep.

At least now you're being honest about who you are, and I have to commend you for it.

The last week on FR have been quite revealing. We now know who the enemy is, and some of them dwell among us......

I saw those pictures of Stan Jones...

Actually I use Colloidal silver, and know a lot of people who do. All I can figure is the guy was drinking the really strong 500ppm stuff and drinking it like water.... you don't do that, a little goes a long way....

10ppm is safe and won't cause agaria (turning blue) and you only need to use some when you feel a cold, flu or something coming on, not like that idiot who panicked that he might get bird flu and started swigging it like crazy...

Several years ago my husband was bit by a dog and developed an antibiotic-resistant infection that spread blood poisoning up his arm... I did start giving him a tsp of CS every hour and the next day the infection had started to recede.. I then used boil ease to pull out the infection and covered the wound with gauze soaked in CS... he healed without any aftereffects and the wound ended up healing without a scar.

The doctor I work for's wife had MRSA (antibiotic-resistant staph, and they finally took my suggestion and she started using CS and did make a recovery (after the infectious disease doctors had told her she was not responding to the only two antibiotics that may work for MRSA)..

All I'm trying to say is people like this Stan Jones is what gives natural healing methods a bad name... he went over the bend .. BTW, there is ways to get rid of the blue skin, but I guess he never checked into how to do that ~LOL~...

I thought AZ was tending Left, but with the exception of our Governor we have GOP in the Senate, most congressmen and in both houses of the state senate and house.

~LOL~ That is exactly the same things Pederson was saying in the ads he was running against Jon Kyl -- straight out of the DNC ad playbook? Everytime I saw those ads I laughed my rear off, but then I knew it was bunk, I realized that a lot of koolaid drinkers wouldn't have a clue that he couldn't go to DC and do anything that Harry Reid didn't want him to do.

Hey, this'll annoy Rove. Nobody from the Admin helped Lott out when he was sandbagged by that remark. Lott has no great loyalty to Bush. Good news for conservatives.

Hearing MaCainiac describe Lott as the "best schmoozer around" almost cost me my lunch yesterday.

All Lott does is bend over and let the Dims ave whatever they want, thinking that he's negotiated a strong position for Pubbies when he's given everything away. Again.

Here we go again!

Everybody but you apparently has forgotten the lesson of the "Perot vote" that brought us 8 damn years of Clinton.

I have not forgotten - and I hope those who thought they were "teaching those Bush a lesson" (in WHAT?) who voted for the Dims are going to see what they voted into power over the next 2 years.

The ONLY good thing about it is that the Democrats, being the idiots that they are, are so going to blow it, there will be a HUGE backlash FOR the Republicans in 2008, thus ensuring that Hitlery won't get that Impeached One back into the White House.

Can you imagine what it would be like with Pres. Hitlery? Has anyone dared to think about the Debauched One running the hallways of OUR house again?

Dang. Just typing that out, I'm going to have to wait an hour to eat lunch and I was hungry. Not anymore. Not after typing this idiocy out.

Those guys in Congress are stuck on hairspray and goofy because they would elevate a guy they made to step down a few years ago. Huh?

One of my brothers is a hospital administrator in Mississippi and he is a big time liberal Democrat. He LOVES Trent Lott! That ought to tell you something.

"Third party candidates almost always elect the candidate they hate the most and undercut the candidate they hate the least. Yet they very seldom win."

Correct.

As conservatives, we do well when the Green party splits the left, and we do badly (like in 2006) when there were no Green party candidates in key races, but the libertarians split off conservative votes.

The $100 million was important because the Democrats were able to use it to hammer a message home with it.

we lost mostly because we lost the 'swing' indie vote, and we lost it over: 1. corruption 2. iraq war and 3. disaffection on spending (eg perception of GOP as big spenders).

The 'stay home' was a factor, but exit polling showed our base turnout and allegiance was close to what the Democrats had. our problem was the 'indies' went 59%-40% for the Dems. And 3rd party was crucial in losing several close races, in particular Burns in MT and also Allen in VA. Every vote counts!

If Foleygate didnt happen we would have had a much better election cycle. That event reignited corruption as a major factor, which was already latent in several races. But Iraq was 2nd biggest factor because it turned the whole national security advantage the GOP has into a liability, and any attepts to 'scare' voters almost drove them to Dems...

We should have run much more positive agenda based campaigns that touted accomplishments (like tax cuts), but
The GOP didnt have as strong a message, we were on defensive.

Captain Ed is kicking the curb and whining about a third party.. we are supposedly smart people. The job is to make our party into what we want it to be. Not to play, miss priss every time we get disappointed.

This bizarre election outcome is because too many right thinking people thought the Republicans needed a lesson.. so we smacked our own faces and elected a bunch of Clowns and Scare Crows to remind us that temper tantrums don't make good policy and never win elections.

Everybody but you apparently has forgotten the lesson of the "Perot vote" that brought us 8 damn years of Clinton.

Thanks....But I can truthfully say that I'm not very proud of it.

I was at the VA hospital yesterday, and the nurse was going through her regimen where she asks a bunch of questions like, "Are you depressed, On a scale of 1-10, what is your pain level....yadda,yadda,yadda. When she got to depression, I told her that I have some post election depression and sort of grinned...:-). I was surprised by the reaction....She had a tear running from eye to cheek when she said, "It was horrible, wasn't it....It was really bad....."

I think this illustrates the feelings in our veteran community, and we have been here before....We know what all this means, and knowing it does not help a damn bit. Not a damn bit.

I plan to continue confronting these novice, so called political experts in our GOP family who I believe have destroyed our majority by shooting up the base. The House has changed hands only twice since 1954, and the second time was last week...

They just don't understand what this loss is, and what it means, and they think it was a fluke that they can easily reverse.

It was no fluke, and we will be in this position for some time. How long depends on a lot of things, but you can rest assured, it will not reverse the trend in 08 or 2010....It will likely worsen until these principled and unappeasable idiots stop their headlong rush to irrelevancy and the defeat they engineered without knowing it.
