Back when dirt was invented, along with Jim Robinson and many others ... I stumbled on this site ... and was instantly drawn to the like-mindedness of the political/social banter/argument/discourse that is the heart and soul of FreeRepublic.

And once again I stumble onto another gem, for it seems you and alamo-girl have written a book that also draws my interest.

I have for many years spoken of this little piece of real-estate that God kept from capable, but not worthy of HIS blessing .. peoples, until a group of men would gather in one point in time, in HIStory, to develope a body politic that was as based in theology as could humanly be without being a theocracy.

We are the posterity of absolutely brilliant and blessed men.

I have read the book and appreciated the deep issues entertained and persued in a way even I could understand...

The Frog in a well metaphor was especially delicious..
Would suggest a night/time of enjoying this book with a good glass of Cabernet... No matter which way you come down on the issues displayed.. If you absolutely have to.... 3 glasses might be needed.. d;-)~',',' (You know if you're a sensitive sort)..
