Somebody coached him not to move anything but his lips.

Howard Dean? .... Or Clutch Cargo?

Interesting that Schumer would be under such stringent physical control...It tells me that they've been told not to do ANYTHING in these last hours, even communicate something through non-verbal communication, which might offend voters. Of course, what they communicated is that they're scared flipless.

They're all scared of ending up like Jon Carry and ultimately being even further belittled via sites like YouTube. No fooling.

Yes, there is. It's because they know, KNOW, that there is NOT going to be any "blue wave" tomorrow and have stopped lying to themselves and others.

It used to be, yes; but, hasn't been in several cycles and certainly hasn't been since '94.

The Rats bet the ranch in this election and that was a big mistake, no matter what happens tomorrow. They are locked in to the same anti war position as they were in the McGovern days, all of them , the old guys like Murtha and all the newbies. Here`s what they missed--Bush is going to win in Iraq. We are a lot closer then anybody is saying. But the terrorists or North Korea or the nut jobs in Iran or Senor Hugo and his new pal Danny aren`t going to quit yet and the war against America will not end. That`s going to mean we need a strong position which means, who needs the Rats. (what a long sentence)

If they don't win, their rabid base will be demanding they do something. What could they do? If they lose, they lose, but their base will be out of control.

It doesn't matter really, the point's still taken.

What I wouldn't give to see the Dems get stopped a yard short on 4th and goal tomorrow night (or better yet, get sacked!).

"Bwahahaha. Gasp. Bwahahaha"

That is a funny comment. Like Republicans have had anything to do with the never ending news cycle about the coming "Democrat wave". Unbelievable.

Scared to death of their own instinctive reactions. So should the rest of the nation.

I noticed that about Dean today in every appearance he made. I've never seen him stiff like that before. He was not motivated at all.

an out-of-power party picking up, say, 14 seats in the House and five seats in the Senate could call it a pretty good night.

Nope.

Dems pick up 5 House seat or less and 1 to -1 Senate seats.

If the polls have been as artificially created as I believe they are then this plays into my whole theory that at the last minute they would do some "pullin' even" stories to save some minimal face. Unfortunately for them, if this is true, they committed to lifting their wings to fly level way too late. Every cycle of this crap dilutes their marketabilty until they can only survive by appealing to the lowest common denominator. They are well on their way but can still salvage enough to carry them to all-internet enterprises that may have some semblance of intellectual honesty intertwined.

I know its been an ugly campaign...

And I know its a tense day.

But there is really no need to demean Clutch Cargo like that....

Even if there is a remarkable resemblence.

:)

Heavily "medicated"?
