I take it you're not one of the eight people who bought his last book.

What - it went up by two?

Pat needs to go somewhere very far away and crawl back in His hole.

Folks, it is NORMAL to lose 16 or more House seats during a mid-term election that falls in the 2nd term of a 2 term President.

It's actually normal to lose more:

The historic average for GWB's 2002 (mid-term) would have been a loss of 27 House & 3 Senate seats. GWB's actual 2002 was GAIN 6 House & 3 Senate. His reelection (2004) average would have been to lose 30 House & 4 Senate. His actual was GAIN 3 House & 4 Senate.

The upcoming election (mid-term of his 2nd term), historically has the party controlling the WH losing 34 House & 6 Senate. We of course don't know this outcome yet, but I get real sick and tired of the media reporting that if Dems do well on Nov. 7th, it means they are adored by the American people, and that GWB's 2nd term is a failure. They never said boo when he cleaned the Dem's clocks, so to speak, in '02 & '04. He did something few presidents have done, by gaining favor in the legislature in both of those elections.

Horrible column by Pat. The Mods should yank it, IMO.

So, does this mean that of Pat's columns this is a bad one, and there are other better Pat columns that should be posted?

Or is it that Pat is bad, and each of his columns is more horrible than the next?

Is there any part of the column that is particularly horrible, or is it all bad?

(Just wondering if you made your comments reflexively, solely on the basis of not liking the author, or that you read the column and found that you disagreed with its content).

This rotten ahole has been attacking Republicans for six solid years, just like the MSM and the libs. My dog has more sense than him.

PJB needs to STFU.

The answer is, first, hubris. Dominating Congress for a dozen years, the GOP began to behave with the same haughtiness as those they displaced.

That is not true. The GOP has behaved far more ethically in office than the rats. Republicans demand consequences for mistakes. Richard Nixon, Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingstone, Trent Lott, Tom DeLay, Bob Ney...The list is endless of GOPers who were forced to step down by the leadership or the GOP voters at the primaries. Compare that to Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Grey Davis, Hillary, Bob Menendez, William Jefferson, etcetera, ad nausium, who were supported by the rat party, rat media, and rat voters. The rats kill people, run their states into the ground, trade weapons technology for campaign cash, fill freezers with money, and yet the rat leadership circles the wagons, and the rat media and base voters look the other way.

The GOP is losing because of the worldwide mainstream political bias that has existed since at least the New Deal years. If the mainstream media was truly "all neutral, all the time" whenever it comes to the entire world of politics, then everything involving the entire world of politics would be much different today-it would be much better. Also, politics was much better prior to the existence of political correctness, and political correctness keeps getting worse every day. The continuing "dumbing down of America" and the continuing "dumbing down of the world" are also getting worse everyday, and they are also closely associated with the continuing existence of political correctness. Put all of these things involving political correctness in reverse until it's no more, and then, politics would be much better for everyone. Nobody is really trying to move in such a direction.

"My dog has more sense than him."

I'm not too sure that's a ringing endorsement for your dogs intelligence.

I agree.

Shutting out reasonable debate puts you in the same blind lockstep as the Kos kiddies.

The conservative cause advanced because for 60 years it provided a rational exchange and development of ideas.

To now become blind doctrinaire zealots will not help advance conservatism. It is going to be a poor imitator of liberal knee-jerk zealots.

Here was my reaction to several years of growing, religious, insinuating neo-Nazi sentiment, half shaded with cowardly, ambiguous rhetoric.

Good Way of looking at it, NBC only has him on because he shills for the DNC. You can't be on NBC if You have any ethics at all. Looserman Buchanan, you are where you belong, on PMSNBC. GOD Bless Our Wonderful President Reagan's Soul and Thanks be that he fired this piece of rubbish.

Wow! I had a Rumplestiltskin moment when I read the title of this tripe.

I thought I woke up the night of Nov. 7th right before the polls closed.

Then I realized it was just more gloom and doom from PJB.

Broken glass Republicans are going to pull this one out, despite the naysayers!

Pat, your time has come and gone. Please just go away.

Isn't there a remote uninhabited island with no communications that we could ban Pat to?

Or was that useful practice from another time?
