Buchanan can shaddap as far as I'm concerned.

Did you notice how ALL the cable news networks denigrated the fence bill with the inference that "comprehensive immigration reform was needed" and instead ALL we got was "A Fence". Fred Barnes said this himself on Fox News.
As all conservatives know...we DIDN'T need the so-called "comprehensive" immigration reform that was being euphemistically advanced in the Senate and White House...because it wasn't a legitimate effort to solve the problem.
First it never recognized that the problem was due to nonenforment. Outright non-feasance. Second, it was Just an attempt to cloak Amnesty under a new label of Guest Worker, etc. Pathetic.
So as we all know, it was a huge accomplishment for the "comprehensive" crapola express to be derailed by a conservative congress...which shoved the Fence down their RINO throats. And forces SOME real change.
But where is Fred Barnes on all that? Echoing the RINO in Chief.
And it was similar or worse on the other networks, who echoed that talking point.

With "friends" like Mike DeWine, John McCain, Sen Snow, Chaffee, Lindsey Grahamn, Arlan Spector, Susan Collins, the Republican party does not need enemies. And don't forget Chuck Hagel, or Ted Stevens. And John Warner is pretty bad at times as well. Good Grief.

"Wow, you mean it takes only eight book sales to be #1 on Amazon.com, the world's largest online store?"
That would explain why his best seller was heavily discounted the day it was released and quickly hit the bargain tables...his book tanked faster then his last run for president.

Pooooooor pat...this last minute campaigning for the Democrats must be wearing him out.
To: CWOJackson
well you know...
Maybe he thinks, in his own little stupid racist anti-semetic world, that if the GOP loses, they will beg him to come back for another failed Presidential run. I'm sure there's a book or three just in that.
Buchanan is such a has-been. That might be a bit inaccurate.
Pat is a never-was.

Think about poor pat today...patiently waiting in the green room of MSNCB waiting for his three minutes of air time as a
"conservative" commentator.

Lower prices are fine but at what price? Losing our jobs? Lower Quality? Well said. Too few people have the wisdom to ask that question.

Exactly. $30 DVD players are nice but what good are they if you're out of work or underemployed? The TV's today are nowhere near as good as they were 20 or more years ago. Sure you paid more for them but they were meant to last and be repaired. Case in point, I still watch a 24 year old Zenith, got it in 1983, still use it to this day. Heck, I know someone oline who still watches a 1955 Color RCA TV to this very day.
My high school physics teacher said that "Everything has a price and sometimes the price will be too much to pay." Yeay, low prices are good ,but what good are they if you deep six your nation's productivity and factories to the point to where yout national security and health will suffer as well as the quality of products you are importing. Plus this adds to the landfills too, a lot of stuff is meant to be tossed instead of fixed. I'm no "greenie" but I do see their points, I don't want a dirty and wasteful world either, when they condemn us aas a throwaway society. Yeah, there isa point in time to toss something out if it can't be fixed but not at the first time something goes wrong.
