Martha Stewart On Cavuto
Cavuto Show Fox News | 11-1-06 | self

Posted on 11/01/2006 1:45:53 PM PST by hoosiermama

Martha Stewart was just on Fox News. Cavuto called her on her contributions to the democrat party. She seemed surprised that he had that information. When questioned by Cavuto she tried to take a non-partisan stance explaining in her business she needed to be neutral.

Those with the technology to obtain her contribution records need to inform her that the information is available to all. Follow up on Neal's exposure. Let her know we ALL know!

She doesn't seem to have donated much in the last couple of years. But before that she donated a bundle. Most, if not all, to the Dems.

Oops, my mistake, I said she voted for LIeberman, should have been that she donated to Lieberman in 2000.
Probably voted for him and gore in 2000 as well, but that's not what Neil said.

Neil asked her:

"So you don't think that Mr. Kerry meant to insult the troops?", to which she answered "Absolutely not! He was a troop, wasn't he?".

Why do people find it so hard to believe that someone who has spent decades accusing the military of atrocities, would "NEVER" insult our troops.

Yes, he was a troop, who trumped up minor scratches to leave his comrades on the battlefield after only about 4 months in combat, only to begin immediately to protest against the troops and accuse them before congress of unspeakable atrocities.

No, I can't imagine this man saying anything that would insult the troops!(sarcasm off)

I haven't looked at other Dems she's contributed to, but I have no problem with Lieberman. Yes, I disagree with him on most issues, but he is one of the few Dems who genuinly wants to do what's best for the country.

I remember back shortly before she fell in the soup and was sent to jail that she gave a fundraiser for Bill Clinton at her home in Connecticut.

Of course she's a Democrat.

People are missing what he was really going after...THE GENERATION Y group. He was speaking at a College. He was speaking to kids who have chosen college over going to the military. HE MADE THOSE COMMENTS TO INGRATIATE HIMSELF TO THEM....And they did laugh. There was alot of laughter after that "joke."

Now you would think that Martha would know that all political contributions over a certain amount have to be reported, and are a matter of pblic record.

Here's where you go to snoop around:

http://www.crp.org/races/zip.asp?ID=PAS2&cycle=2006&special=N

There's even a section where you put in your zipcode, and you can find out who the big contributors are in your area.

I just found out that a lawyer I used and my heating company owner are both big 'Rat donors! Guess I'll have to switch to someone else who gives to Pubbies only.

Here's the link to search your own state and zipcode:

Have fun!

This gripes me too!! When I don't know the age of the person that said it; I always think they must be youngsters- but many who MUST remember the Vietnam War and Kerry's lies seem to have short memories.
