Ya know, that just ticks me off....my son was recruited into the Marines in high school because he was extremely intelligent. He aced his AP math and english tests...and is extremely talented in the computer field....now that he is out of the Marines, he is in college making the deans list (time after time) learning about something he loves...computers. My son served honorably for 5 years...not because he was stupid and had no place to go...but because he chose to serve...and in doing so he is able to go to college, now that he is out. I think he made a really wise choice.

I heard this on John Ziegler tonight. I could not believe my ears, even though it WAS Kerry. Whoa, that little slip of what he no doubt deeply believes has cost him any chance of running again (to Republicans' regret, actually) for President. And a decent Republican opponent could use this audio to take his Senate seat out from under him.

This needs to also get to some campaign outfit that will run it an campaign ad - like "This is what John Kerry thinks of our troops." - be great with some of the troops or family giving their education.
