Will the judge dismiss the case like Ken Lay?

Steve Trunk, who was chosen by Mr. Paulson to take over as plaintiff in the case, said he was proud of his friend's convictions. Two lawsuits – one filed by Mr. Paulson and Trunk and a second filed by the ACLU – are working their way jointly through federal court. They challenge the presence of the cross on government property.
I guess not.

Damm. No upside to the story, then.

This is eerie! As a Christian, I say "God please have mercy on his soul. He did not understand, in truth, what he was doing."

I'd hope that in spite of strong feelings towards him that people can show a little decorum.I was hoping for the same. It didn't take long, tho, for the self-rightous to hold this man in judgment. I'll reserve that for a higher order. Cancer.....what an insidious ailment.

I wonder what St. Peter said to him when he arrived at the Pearly gates?"You can't come here, it doesn't esist. There is a place for you somewhere else. You will come to accept it exists."

While I vehemently oppose the position this man took, I feel sorry for the manner in which he met his end. My grandfather died of cancer, and my uncle is dying of cancer now. The disease is not a pleasant way in which to live out your remaining time on Earth. May our Lord in Heaven comfort this man's family.

As a nurse, I loathe cancer. I see people wrecked by it and the treatments they undergo which are often just as miserable.
As a son, I loathe cancer. I lost my dad to it. I watched it slowly and painfully eat away at my greatest hero, who refused to be bowed by it until his last breath.
As a Christian, I loathe cancer. It is a sign of a fallen world, in which death and decay strike every man, woman and child without mercy or respect.
The death of this man does not bring me any joy. And if God does not desire that any man be lost but that all be saved, then I imagine that His final judgment of this man will not bring Him any joy, either.
Very sobering stuff.
