THURSDAY. THE HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
NORTHEAST WINDS WILL BE PARTICULARLY STRONG THROUGH AND BELOW
CAJON PASS...BANNING PASS...AND NEAR PASSES IN THE SANTA ANA
MOUNTAINS.
THE WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR MOTORISTS
WITH HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST AND SAND COULD
REDUCE VISIBILITY TO NEAR ZERO. WATCH FOR BROKEN TREE LIMBS AND
DOWNED POWER LINES.

Just north of Edwards AFB and a little east of Mojave.
I hope they die down before the weekend, Edwards AFB is having their annual airshow this weekend and Santa Ana's will cause sand storms out here, it's so dry.

Interesting...I'm at my office which is at the top of the Banning pass and barely a breeze. Guess we will know in the near future. For others on this thread. Fire danger is high right now...high temps and low humidity... and this is Santa Ana season. We watch the hills closely.
