But since most sentient beings with intelligence above the average dog have some sense of right and wrong, they have to, are compelled to, invent some form of good and bad. One has to be a genuine sociopath not to have some sense of good and bad.
They end up thinking it is wrong to believe in God, wrong to distinguish Evil and wrong to have and to use the power necessary to defeat Evil. They think it is wrong to put Man above Beast. A single stray feral cat is as valuable as a loving family raising several children, and placing one above the other is wrong. It becomes wrong to insist that others act responsibly, or even to encourage them to do so.
One ends up with weak, shrinking populations unwilling and unable to defend themselves. A bunch of tree hugging, politically correct, socialists and fellow travelers.
And those who can defend themselves, starting with the Devil himself, our beloved Rummy, are Evil Incarnate.
This is how great civilizations die, run over by more vibrant civilizations that are eager to raise many children and to fight and die for their cause.
In fly-over country here in the States, and in some other scattered places about the globe, including our good friends down under, our civilization still has the will to live, to breed, to stand tall and to fight to win, convinced that God is on our side, that an Angel still rides in the whirlwind.
Other places, such as the Continent (Europe), appear to be a lost cause. Their creaky aging socialist countries are being overwhelmed by violent, youthful, fervent Muslims, on a mission from Allah. The drive-by media,our public and higher education and the Democrat party have already chosen sides, as fellow travelers and enablers.
The outcome is in dispute.
