"Didn't this same bunch say the same thing prior to the LAST election?"

Nothing to see here,...move along. Look for the adjustment UP in the polls for the GOP a few days before the election.

I just watched Tim Russert and Matt Lauer tout the numbers, the worst ever in the history of the planet........ "the pot is boiling over with bad news for republicans.

Matt and Tim are smokin' pot.

I still believe the group that stays home will be gay Democrats. Republicans are more reliable and responsible people, they'll show.

I see the finely tuned McCain/Feingold campaign finance reform is working as planned.

Panic? No. Be concerned? Yep.

A few friends who would normally vote without reservation or hesitation for the Republican candidate are talking the "throw the bums out" talk. That is something to be concerned about.

But when it gets down to the nut cutting, will they actually vote for a Democrat? I don't think they can bring themselves to that point of insanity or anger.

One race I'm watching here in Texas is how many votes Kinky gets. If he gets more than a few token votes, the Texas and national Republicans best sit up and pay attention.

Tim Russert and Matt Lauer two anti-American left-wing fascist terrorist supporters.

Listen to a morning c-span and listen to the seminar callers. There was one disenchanted republican woman who "sometimes voted for republicans" who could not ID her candidates but said she was definitly voting all D.

It seems all the C-span callers are pretty much anti-american lately. (the democrat callers are just plain nuts)

I think I read a story with a similar headline about how the Yankees were poised for a big win over the Tigers.

You should have seen what they had to say about the Yankees chances against the Pirates in the 1960 World Series.

LOL.

Well, I just don't believe it. The events of this last week have really lit a fire under me.

All this garbage with Foley, Reid... Nancy Pelosi's motor-mouth jabber, the escalating talk about how "we gotta do something about the guns!" has just made me realize, once again, that I can't let these bastards get away with the crap they are spewing 24/7.

At least I can vote against the SOB's and perhaps help a few Republicans gain office or keep it.

What a complete load of clap trap.

In fact, according to the poll, Republicans are in worse shape on some key measures than Democrats were in 1994, when they lost their congressional majorities.

What would those key measures be Mark?

Mr Murry seems to be long on making ominous statements while reporting zero facts

But...but....the exit polls in 2004 were saying Kerry was a lock. These guys are priming themselves for another HUGE letdown. The excuse and conspiracy mills are already churning up stories of Rove and Diebold trickery.

Polls that are way off now, when we know the figures from the election, should lose their polling status for any poll in the future. I have not seen this one but would be willing to bet one could add 8% points to the GOP side and it would be more accurate.

I can imagine. The Yankees big bats did produce a ton of runs in that series. Unfortunately for them they only produced three wins.

Tim Russert coming up on Imus.....

There's yet another show on MSNBC nobody watches. I must admit, sometimes I tune in just for curiosity. I am constantly amazed at the FX the MSNBC production crew pulls off by making that corpse talk.

Rove's got a plan - life is good.

That's all fine and good, but if Republicans can't convince voters that the left is insane, no plan will do any good. And the left owns the media.
