One more face lift and she'll have a beard. That'll make it even more interesting.
Don't say it! Poor baby can't help it. Look for things that look like you instead. - One thing for sure, kids no matter what age must feel okay about their parents or else their own self-image will be tainted by it. Of course, sometimes the parent who is lacking and destructive sometimes does things to the kid directly that forever prohibits them being able to rise to the level of being able to sublimate that parent (as in sexual abuse or other things). However, for general run of the mill lousiness, kids have to be helped about not falling into a failure hole because of the failing parent.
(For instance, I read about one mother whose husband deserted her and their children early on, hardly ever sent her a dime for the kids, even when he did the checks bounced. She purposely left any letter he sent laying around where the kids could find it, especially the rare one that contained even a bad check; finally gave up on trying to cash them - but NEVER told the kids anything negative about him. Later, they were able to at least talk with him, didn't hate him, but most importantly weren't left hating themselves for being kin to him.)
That had me laughing so hard I almost had a repeat performance, fortunately not though...
Now, here's a sweet facial expression!
Movies and TV have brought this modern emphasis on facial expression. Before movies and TV the entire body was noted to have expression and mannerism that seems to run in families including cousins and ancestors and can never be hidden even with extensive training in acting for either the stage or diplomatic corps or spy agency.
LOL!
People are constantly asking me why I'm mad, but I rarely get angry. I just think a lot. When a person is thinking, they don't always consider how they appear to others.
So here I am, knowing I'm on the edge of some kind of epiphany, and along comes some joker wanting to know why I'm mad....which I wasn't until he interrupted me.
You're right, it IS a kind of a self fulfilling cycle!
FReepers are so smart. :-)
ROFLMAO!
-------
When my girls were small, they would complain about the 'mad face' I made when I was fussing at them about their behavior.
Then I told them that I don't like having to spank, and since God made me this way, He also gave me this face so my children would be frightened enough to behave like they should instead of my having to whack their bottoms.
I can't recall having to spank them since.
Boy can I ever relate to that one. People sometimes needle me about being in my own little world. I say "tell you what pal, I wish you could visit my own little world. You would never want to leave."
That's the same look I got from the fireman...just joking, I was able to slink away unseen, at least...
