I don't need a national ID to get a passport. No, but you need all the same things you'd need to get a citizen's ID card.
If you don't want a passport, fine. If you don't want to show verifiable ID to vote, fine.
Stay home.

More breaking of election laws by ACORN caught on youtube. Sorry about the repost, but no one seemed to catch my drift the first post.
Acorn fires 10 year employee who refuses to campaign for McCaskill. Listen carefully to the explanation as to why she was fired.

Actually, I think a DL should be required, I just don't agree with a National ID. I have always shown my DL, whether or not it was requested.

I think if you're an American citizen, you shouldn't complain about proving it, especially if it means access to my taxpayer money or my voting box.

"What good would screaming do? Democrats don't care. Screaming won't shame them." The bogus voter registrations will *all* be in Precincts that ACORN believes it has compromised, security wise.
They can "vote" for as many people as don't show up on Election Day in such a Precinct...and of course, bogus people won't show up so a ballot will be punched out for each one.
But, by looking at the bogus voter registrations, we should know which Precinct to monitor closely for voter fraud on Election Day.

They should have known better than to work for criminals like ACORN.. Hard to feel sorry for them.

I am already expecting this to happen here in Washington state. King County liberals control this entire state and voter fraud is rampant.
It doesn't matter if the majority of the residents of the state vote on an issue, if the state doesn't agree, they will find a way to simply overturn it.

It is precisely for that reason that I shouldn't have to prove anything, it's mine by birthright.
The burden should be borne by the illegals, not Americans.
especially if it means access to my taxpayer money
Your "taxpayer money" created and supports several Government agencies. Any one of which can determine where you live, work, bank, how much you earn, pay/owe in taxes and donate to charitable organizations. How many kids you have, whether or not you go to Church and where. What your political party is and whether or not you finished school and with what grades, etc.
But you don't think they are capable of determining if you are qualified to vote, unless you have a laminated super ID card? Amazing!
I'll agree to disagree. You push for that ID card, and I'll keep pressure on my Reps to stop handing out DL and social benefits to illegals. And try to keep the size of Government, that eat up your tax money, down.
regards.
