THE heckler at Barbra Streisand's MSG concert Monday night may have been a right-wing plant who's taunted her before, her publicist says. "There's something a little weird about it," said Ken Sunshine, noting there was a similar-sounding shouter at the diva's Philadelphia show last week.
At the Garden, the heckler taunted, "What is this, a fund-raiser?" when she made fun of President Bush. Meanwhile, Audience Extras, a firm that provides members with free tickets to undersold shows, was giving out ducats to Babs' show tonight. "They did a last-minute release of some scattered seats in the upper levels," said tour publicist Fran Curtis.

Ken Sunshine - same media consultant who works for the Dixie Chicks...
wow. I thought David Lee Roth's fall from on high was incredible! Look what's happening to Babs. She's going the way of Cindy Sheehan...
What? La Streisand not selling out??
Or may NOT have been a right wing plant, simply some nut. But, nooooo, we just can't pass up an opportunity like this to discredit the right.
The hag cant admit that she might have left out her Bush bashing so she blames the bad publicity on a stalker. Meanwhile her show isnt selling out so she has to give away seats. Its over Babs . Anyone who has good sense doesnt want to see you tired show. Especially not ewith your tired politics in it.
Right wing plant? Ah, so there IS a vast right wing conspiracy. Don't anyone think for a minute that this is speaking truth to power. /s Idiots.
Sounds like she was doing the taunting. He got her goat.
Must have utterred the unmentionable "B" word--Bush.
Ken Sunshine
I wonder if he knows Peace Moonbeam.
Do you think she wishes things were the way they were?
"May" is the definitive word here. What a load of Babs
The paranoia is strong with this one.
..This old bag should get a life..I wonder if she walks her husband on a leash..I can picture it now..How many times has she retired from the stage? Isn't it every election year she makes a come back?
He's balanced on Peace Moonbeam.
If it is a right-wing plant (hardy-har-har) then he is really taking one for the team; seeing Babs with no bra has gotta be the modern-day version of looking at Medusa. Hats off to you dude!

Did he rain on her parade?
Now that you mention it...
At $700 per ticket?
I wouldn't pay $5.00 to go see Babs crooning.
I lost count. Does Babs or Cher have the most 'farewell tours' now?
Babs is repped by Barry Manilow's pre-plastic surgery twin brother?
A right-wing plant in the audience? But of course, Babs!... Paranoia and the Left go together like mash potatoes and gravy.
Hell, If you GAVE me a ticket I would have said even worse things at her concert . No way I would pay one cent to see that BS spouter .
Well... He did such a great job for Dinkins, I'm sure Babs will do just fine with this fool.
Like a Seadoo in a no wake zone.
BABS STALKED?
In her dreams! The closest this NAG HAG can get to a stalker is Jim Brolin walking ten paces behind her!
What a lunatic. Babs starts boring the audience with her ignorance regarding politics and Kenny claims she is SO politically important that a conspiracy was initiated.
>>Paranoia and the Left go together like mash potatoes and gravy.<<
Ken speaketh: "These paparazzi are probably lying because they lie about everything. These accusations are the height of absurdity. These are people who jump out of trees and hide in bathroom stalls.
Didn't Lawrence O'Donnell say the same thing about the Swifties?
Was it Ted Nugent?
If not, I want written proof that every FReeper was somewhere else that night, on my desk, by 9:00 this morning.
(Like any Republican or FReeper is going to a Babs concert!)
This only publicity Babs is able to muster; victim of Right wing heckler.. Pity because she used to be a great singer. What is she now? Old, rich and dumb.
The woman stated that she was shocked when in the middle of the show, Babs brought out some Bush-double and started ridiculing him. That is when the heckler made his remark, which she herself was wondering, "What is this? Why can't you just sing? That's what we paid for."
Babs told the "heckler" ( and I kind of doubt if it was really a heckler after seeing this interview) "Why don't you just shut up?"
And then in total frustration, because the ridiculing of the Bush-double wasn't going all that well with the audience, "Why don't you just shut the f### up."
The woman said she took her granddaughter (14 I think she said the girl was) and left along with several others from all over the theater.
It's the MSG keeping her well preserved.
>Meanwhile her show isnt selling out so she has to give away seats. <
No kidding. This Democrat (aren't they supposed to be for "the little people"??) expected people to fork over $300.00 and up for tickets!
Babs forgot that her audience is a bit, ahem, older. Her audience remembers when $18.00 was an astronomical sum for a concert ticket.
Audience Extras - ah, a fake but accurate sell-out.
Well, considering what she charges for her concerts, I'm glad there is a way for the "little people" (whom of course the Democrats claim to represent) to see her if they so choose.
Perhaps, if it's a one legged guy named Ahab.
Sounds like the real life Lloyd Braun....
Thanks for update here . . mentioned yesterday how a friend of mine heard that it was a plant on some network news. . .told her not to believe it; that it was 'Barbras' PR taking care of business. . .
No doubt, MSM more than happy to accomodate the story; despite their knowing what a total crock this is.
As for Bab's Magical Political Singing Tour' (scheduled pre-Election. . ) am hoping that any Repub who made the mistake of buying a ticket; or planning to. . .will correct their error.
Ditto that!
No no no. She's the "focus of a vast right wing cconspiracy".
Guess they didn't have enough members to bail out the Dixie Chicks.

Don't question the Great and Powerful Flabs Streisand. Pay no attention to Howard Dean behind the curtain.
'I'M SURE President Bush is a very nice guy, but some people voted for him because they thought he was a person they could have a beer with. What is that about?! Do you want to have a beer with the doctor who's going to operate on you, or do you want him to be the top of his class . . . be a bit in awe of him?"
So says Barbra Streisand in the new issue of O
Oooo, now I have a image of having a beer with Babs.
I read that Babs told the heckler to 'shut the f--k up' and asked him if he wanted his money back. He could have responded with, 'Money? What money? Are you saying that some of these people actually paid to see this piece of crap?"
We should not roll over and be polite when the Donks are obnoxious. We should give back as good as we get. Otherwise it is a one-way ratchet, where they can criticise us with impunity and never pay a price.
Babs has only herself to blame. If she is going to parody the President on stage, I would hope that the entire audience would turn their backs as a group. However, since we are talking about Streisand fans, who by and large seem to have a preference for that sort of thing, that's not going to happen. If conservative activists have to pay somebody to be there and listen to that dreck in order to make sure our voices can be heard, so be it.
Drop the skit, and the "stalker" goes away.
From what I read there was more than one person "heckling" her over her juvenile political remarks. Shut up and sing you old hag.
Is the Seinfeld character Lloyd Braum based on this guy?
(If that sounds like a right-wing conspiracy - it is.)
